Keys is trying to lie and say he never even heard of Kim Dotcom before the raid, which is BS because MPAA requested the raid through Chris Dodd, through Joe Biden to the State Attorney. Then in NZ, you have the PM John Key all buddy buddy with Peter Jackson and paying to have LOTR/Hobbit filmed there, and we're supposed to believe that the man has never heard of Kim Dotcom, public enemy #1 of Hollywood?

Then the Prime Minister of New Zealand, John Key, had to go on TV and defend himself against allegations that he lied about knowing Kim Dotcom prior to the raid.

This story has been going on almost daily in the news down in NZ all this year since the raid it's been one thing after another- the warrant was deemed illegal, they had to apologize for illegally spying on him, etc etc.

I don't think any US TV news has covered this story at all, it's already a huge embarrassment to the NZ government, and it's getting to be a bigger scandal every day for the US Gov.

Good Points....Unfortunately, until these "regulations" directly impact the true population (individually and personally), most people will remain apathetic - content to simply tow their respective party line. To do otherwise would require coming out of your shell, and eliminating "the norm" from your existence by acknowledging the "unthinkable." For most, that's a very scary proposition, and they prefer to live within the comfort of their skewed (and controlled) perceptions.

When the time finally comes, and after the shock wears off, my guess is that the people we "hired" to protect us from this tyranny will be held most accountable. Will be interesting to see for sure, and I'm afraid we're all going to be around when it happens.

The DoJ knows that any charges against KIMBO will not stick. That is not the reason that they are doing this to him.

The US Entertainment Industry was scared to fucking death of KIMBOS new venture that would allow artists to directly market to the consumer in a way never seen before. This would effectively kill the big producers who sign acts.
