Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 20068093 United States 11/26/2012 05:13 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | once convicted a criminal loses it's rights...and those loss of rights should vary with the severity of the crime. Losing your freedom is not enough as we see convicts laughing at the system. Prisons should be places of hard labor, desperate fear and extreme suffering for the convict. You must run a prison with severe force and brutal military discpline for them to be a deterent. The criminal must fear prison as he does death. I guarantee you that those who survive a 5 year prison term and rejoin society will be reformed. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1760050 I agree. Unfortunately it's not like that here. |

Truth was they didn't play anything. They rode bikes, motorcycles and played pool. I heard he was suppose to testify to a arson he'd witnessed which killed some kids. |

I heard he was suppose to testify to a arson he'd witnessed which killed some kids. Sorry to hear about this. What nobody can explain to me is how someone who willfully takes the life of another for whatever personal gain should be afforded rights? For what reason? I heard some people say that it reinforces their own Humanity and makes them feel good for feeling so merciful, yet very seldom do you find these higher beings at Victim Support Groups - most of the people at VSG's are firm believers in vengeance. Mercy is the province of the Unaffected. On a Macro scale imagine if the USA said lets afford terrorists rights or Israel decided that after the murder of their Citizens to be reasonable and have an 'Investigation' and a trial, and then to give 'terrorosits' who are just criminals, rights. The US government shows how a criminal threat is properly dealt with (Sadam Hussein, Osama bin Laden and Ghadhafi)yet the rules are different for the little folk somehow. Some 'leaders' they are.. |
