I had measles, mumps, chicken pox, and every other
childhood disease in the fifties.
My baby brother was inoculated for these three
major diseases in the sixties.
He never came down with measles, mumps or chicken pox.

I am alive as I am typing this, and my little brother
is dead, God rest his soul.

He died of cancer.

I believe diseases are part of nature.
They are there for a reason.
They kill off the weak.

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

If my brother had suffered through all the childhood
diseases that I did, perhaps he would have developed
a stronger constitution, that would have been able
to fight off cancer.
