You can bet there was a deal brokered through back channels -- we cut our aircraft carrier presence in the Persian Gulf, and Iran will.... Quoting: Thor's Hamster We'll see what Iran's concession is. But you better believe they're making one, too. It behooves both sides (U.S. and Iran) to have less of a military buildup in the Persian Gulf. Less buildup means less chance of a mistake occurring that could lead to something neither side wants. The only entity that wants war in this stand-off is Israel; and they want us to fight it for them. Acutely it has everything to do with China. Have to understand Africom's main goal to remove china from Africa coincides with the same goals in the Middle Eastm they are one in the same. Iran’s current military organization has more to do with making sure they will never be in the same situation they were after Operation Karbala in 86. Once the eight year war between Iraq and Iran ended in 88, China went in and rebuilt the entire infrastructure of Iran basically for free from the ground up, from roads and factories to dams and power plants. This investment including china restructuring the Iranian military and selling/giving Iran weapons to protect the investment china made in Iran. China even built Iran’s missile factory and missile test range essentially free of charge. These billions China pumped in to Iran is now a 50 billion dollar a year returns investment for the PRC. Is expected to rise be a $300 bilion dollar return in less then two years! Remember China is an oil poor country. Just a little link, but there is so much more to this situation, this all goes back decades it is not anything like what the news wants people to think it is.
