We can all rely on faith but the system took that away from some of us. Time to live off the grid and get the our spirituality back. It's all about believing in ourselves, as the Mother, The Father, and The Higher You, are all inside of us. Choose wisely on what we put in our body, mind, soul, it's a war inside and outside of you, don't let the negative choices/temptations defeat your heart.

My husband just retired from the Navy on Sept. 1st as a 20 year Veteran Seabee with a Degree, and we still can't find a job, we are about to lose everything we worked so hard for!! I worry for my two children and my mother who is ill that lives with us.

How did this happen???? We live moderate, I can't even afford the STUPID UTILITIES, they are soooo high!!!

God, I just pray Jesus comes back soon, I am sooo tired anymore!!!!

if the gov would just totally get out of business and just

The #1 cause of depression is actually dehydration.

as for financial depression, the problem is we have become too centralized and the center wants everything.

(due to staying indoors playing video games in mom's cellar, wearing suntan lotions in summer, most of our states are in northern latitudes in which you can only get d3 for six months out of the year anyways, not eating pastured milk, eggs or wild seafoods) (and we wonder why people become addicted to tanning beds...)

I know this isn't a thread of "Finger Pointing". However, we only did it to ourselves! The idea of shrugging off "Responsibilities" and finding ourselves in a hole crying out to the government to enable us got the ball rolling. You think the state of depression is bad now?...Wait when the feds start raiding the IRA and 401ks to start a National Retirement program so they can help the "poor people". That is, after they collect their taxes for obamacare.

Look at the world we live in, we are not connected to our environment, we are slaves to systems, hardly any of us have a true connection with the universe and the source, and we wonder why so many are depressed?

I was depressed and on meds for years, I had an awakening and realized I wasn't depressed, I just felt like I didnt belong here. Once I found the reason for me and my connection to the universe, everything changed.

True, as the universe is inside of us. I also had spiritual awakening, and changed my perspective of seeing things. The obstacles in life is the choices we make, so choose wisely.

This seems so simple, but it is so true. Couple it with nutritional deficiencies and you have the source of what ails the vast majority of the population.

THIS is why we are all in the position we find ourselves. If this country practiced true capitalism, we'd be fifty years, a hundred years, ahead of where we are now.

But we ain't.

Blame the financial elite. The currency manipulators, the oil market speculators, the commodities prognosticators, the stock market mouthpieces. And the gov'ts they have coopted.

For your information, we did have money put away, but ohhhh the following happened:

1. Mother in law lost her house and was living on the streets, so we took her in. We pay for everything for her as she has NO JOB either!!!

2. Car broke down, cost us about 2,000.00 to fix (Not everyone has a BRAND NEW CAR)

3. Have kids that are growing, need to buy clothes and feed them ......

4. Utilities has gone over the top in rates

Sorry, but my husband was over seas for two years fighting so you and others could sleep peacefully at night, and job hunting while you are in another country doesn't fair well for interviews when your OVER SEAS!!!!!

Is there any possibility he would be eligible for unemployment ? I could be mistaken but I thought I heard of some organizations that help Vets in transition. I know a lot of businesses are more aware of difficulties that vets are having so maybe do a little research and see what discounts are available hopefully your state might have a program to help with utilities till you guys get on your feet. If I hear of anything I will track your User ID down and post it as a
reply. Also how about your mother in law, is she eligible
for Social Security ?

Career enlisted men earn ultra high pay. An E-7 with 20 years of service with a wife and four kids earns a whopping $78,221 a year! That much more than Americans with advanced college degrees, like an MBA. E-9s can make over $100,000 a year! Enlisted can retire after just 20 years of service without contributing a cent toward their generous retirement plan. If the U.S. military advertised these facts, recruiters would have lines outside their office.

So how much did hubby make as a 20 year Navy man???
And WHY THE HELL did he quit w/o something lined up???

Last year I made like $28K. With 2 kids. One in college.

So cry me a river!

Until you lay out details about what hubby gave up?- don't come here whining about how poor you are- cause I don't buy it.

A 20 year Navy man should be WAY more well off than that.
