NOOOOOO HERP DERP we must keep drugs illegal, because they are bad. Funny people that are for the steady illegalization of drugs have no arguement, but also immediately think you take drugs. Same thing would happen as it did in the repeal of prohibition.

It's not the government's job to protect a citizen from him or her self. Legalize drugs and thus destroy the cartels. Also, this would free up much-needed room in our prisons for real criminals. Since our prison system is becoming privatized, I suspect that the prison lobby is lobbying Congress NOT to legalize drugs, because that would hurt their "business".

Some things are best done by government -- prisons, military, etc. Most not, but some are.

Legalizing drugs worldwide would dry up a major monetary pool of "black" budgets for covert operations. Another reason to legalize them.

The U.S. legalized gambling, for all intents and purposes -- indian casinos. Now, a citizen has the CHOICE (what a concept!) whether or not to gamble, as well as the responsibility for the ensuing consequences of that choice.

Legalize it!

Mossad got much of their funding in the past from illegal ecstasy rings in major U.S. cities; namely Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Chicago.

So, in effect, they'd get funding to perform false flags upon us, by selling illegal drugs (thus at a large, marked up price) to our citizens. What a racket!

no, just no, because effectively drugs are not illegal in mexico for those with power money and wealth , the trafficers have everything sewn up and still the death toll is many murdered per hour in mexico.
It's the trafficers doing the killing, so the illegality of possession is trumped by the illegality of enslavement and competition between cartels.
But, in the end you and those like you need your drugs and care not a jot for who dies and what's destroyed along the way

You can smoke all the cancer causing cigarettes you want, drink your vodka until you die, and O.D. on your valium, prozac, oxycontin, but the minute you smoke a joint or eat some mushrooms or acid, you're now a criminal who supports the 'criminal class', right?

It appears your philosphy is not a moral objection to 'drugs' but an objection to supporting 'criminals' who are designated as such by governments who have a monopoly on the drug trade (both legal & illegal).

A common fantasy of stoners whose ability to think has been eroded by marijuana use. The cartels aren't limited to just one kind of crime. They wouldn't "wilt" if marijuana was legalized.

The user you quoted wrote 'drugs' (plural). Please elaborate how you concluded the user was only talking about marijuana when he said 'drugs'.
