Why would you want the joy of Santa to be taken away from children? Children grow up way too soon as it is, why take something that gives them so much joy away? I will never understand people, geez. Parents punish their children if their kids lie to them so why is it ok for parents to lie to their kids? Think about it......we never lied to our kids. Unless they are completely sheltered they figure it out fast...when they get everything on their list and a friend gets a pair of socks it becomes pretty obvious. Nuke the Muzzies! I never lied to my kids either, there really was a St. Nick or Santa...and I kept the tradition of giving...it's a good lesson to teach children...giving anonymously is a good thing...if you took credit for the gifts before they figured it out, how selfish of an asshole would you be?
