Late summer 2013, even as late as October. All my reasons are anecdotal, but then I live in a rural area where everyone knows everyone else and we all talk.

It takes time for the economy to feel the pinch fully of things, like higher taxes, higher costs, etc. Food is high, but going up, gas is high but going up etc. Jobs are about to cut hours and are in the process of it. It hasn't trickled down yet.

Welfare is just starting to turn down people in my county, even those they don't fudge the numbers to do so (pregnant women as 1 not 2, etc.), these are folks that actually qualify. The health department usually has a 6 month wait for non-sexual related health issues, and it's been 8 or so for the past few months, today it's hitting a year mark, and expected to be longer while they do personnel cuts.

Bartering is up, which is also a sign of economic troubles, here and with a few friends I know.

It's starting, but not quite here yet.

um, yea, it's already collapsed, you are being entertained by a false reality. You are watching fiction, you are in the matrix and believe it to be real.

It hasn't collapsed yet, its in progress though. As others have mentioned, all the messed up stuff they are doing makes it obvious what the end result will be. When it happens there won't be any debating about it. It will be a smack in the face to everyone in the US and many others abroad. We aren't the only ones playing this game so we wont be the only ones caught up in it.

When an event happens that makes everyone have that ah ha moment, thats when it completely goes down the tube.

Assuming the "Mayan Calendar End of the World Doom" is not really going to happen, I'd say that since millions of people's UI assistance checks end Dec 29, and they have no other income and very few job prospects for the majority of them, about mid Jan. is when shit will start hitting the fan bad. By end of Jan, when most people in that boat will start getting evicted & thrown out in the street, there will be full on rioting (at least by the ones who don't freeze to death).
