Corporations are parasitic. Television creates grouped personalities.
When the fuck are we all going to be pissed off enough to put these parasitic corporations in check. All they do is leech from the bottom. Meaning the public. You are bombarded with advertisements everywhere you look. Their images are constantly shoved into your sensory inputs. Eyes, Ears. Certain stores have scents too, like Abercrombie and Fitch. Your subconscious is full of corporate logos that fuel you to go back to them like a child to its mother. You have will power though and choose whatever you do in the end. I'm just trying to say that the corporate world we live in is kinda fucked up if you step back and look at it from a different perspective. It does work, it does provide for us, but at a cost. It, unfortunately, creates shells of people who all end up having the same thing. It creates grouped personalities by having limited options. This isn't necessarily bad to a certain extent, but when stereotypes come true people aren't living as individuals or thinking for themselves. They're picking from options and settling for limitations. If that's ok with you then fine, but I personally think part of being human is to be able to embrace the randomness of the world we live in and create your own, unique, individual self. To be yourself, even if its silly, goofy, or retarded.

Televisions create these personalities too. You pick up minor things in all the shows you watch. How many people do you know that walk around and quote scenes from Family Guy, for example? By creating these grouped personalities you end up being able to market things to them. As a group. Making it much easier to sell products on a large scale. This would be fine if they were products that lasted forever and were constantly updated for the better, free of charge. This is not the case. Take the ipod/ipad for example. A new one with minimal upgrades gets released every few months. People keep buying them even though they're essentially the exact same device they had before. Stuck in a loop of materialistic wants to have the best even though it is kind of ridiculous. Gotta have the newest best one to be at the top tier of the 'Apple Club'. How much tax does Apple pay in the USA? Ha. This is why I call corporations parasitic. Every one has its theme and is selling you shit. If its made on an assembly line in china then its usually shit. Television and corporations are bullshit. Imagine if we had our governments provide 3d printers to every household. Imagine what you could make with it. You would never have to shop again. If we stopped all the wars and focused on bettering all of ourselves we could explore space. Instead we fight and bitch and moan. We are blinded. We need something to happen. Peacefully.

What do you find parasitic about working in an industry
to produce products for a consumer?
