Saw this on my local news and found a link online. The sensitive material included social security numbers, license plate numbers, undercover detectives names addresses SSN's and badge numbers. There was also part of the Nassau Police departments logo which is where the material is believed to be from [ link to news.yahoo.com] from article... "The Nassau County Police Department is very concerned about this situation," Nassau County Police Inspector Kenneth Lack said in a statement. "We will be conducting an investigation into this matter as well as reviewing our procedures for the disposing of sensitive documents." Also a video at the link with an interview to the man who actually looked at the confetti and collected a fair amount of it. |
