The era of e-discovery malpractice suits is coming. The not so surprising truth is that many lawyers and judges over the age of 30 simply don't understand the systems and how they're used so they try to avoid dealing with the issue. The Supreme Court still hasn't agreed to hear a serious internet case because they're hoping to retire before it has to be decided. Think about it: If you want to sue me for something I said on this site, where would you sue? In your home state where you read it? In mine where I wrote it? At GLP's servers' home state? Or in any random state you wanted since GLP is accessible world-wide?
