I think the kid had good fucking reason to be resisting, he knew what was about to happen.

Real simple. Just by reviewing the video, kid on the ground initially not compliant to commands. The kid then began to acquiesce and comply. Heck, you can see he was reaching for his pants to pull them up. Probably aware that he didn't want them to fall while cuffed from behind. Anyway, kid down on the ground, compliant, arms behind his back. Cool. Now handcuffs can be placed on him. This idiot who comes running in doesn't do shit but put the officers well being in jeopardy. Think about this. This idiot blindly runs in and doesn't do anything but act like a fucking moron. Two things. If necessary, assist with restraint, and secondly, and most importantly, make sure the scene is cool. This jack off came in like a fool. The first officer was fine.
The 2nd officer was so far out of line, his behavior was far beyond unprofessional and he was violent. I can guarantee you there is someone out that has been brutalized by that bastard but is afraid to speak up.

All he had to do was let the cop cuff him passively and be done with it. Doing ANYTHING more was just going to escalate it. The kids was obviously too stupid to GET IT.

I understand what you're saying and I tend to side with the cops when they are up against some shit that's resisting but I get the feeling the other cop didn't give a shit what the kid was doing.

I think he's a bully, I don't think what he did was warranted, I think he was extreme in his language and behavior. Just my opinion.

The first officer had him in a bear hug wrestling hold, how did this start out? In addition after the first officer was managing things the second one though going over the top STOPPED the situation in the least violent way he could given my understanding of the hiring practices of modern officers. He dominated the scene in the protection of a fellow officer. I don't have to agree with his tactics but I understand his logic.
