Now, I could post case after case after case of proof. Not only that, I can post case after case with the cops losing their jobs, being sued, or worse.

The first officer was fine.
The 2nd officer was so far out of line, his behavior was far beyond unprofessional and he was violent. I can guarantee you there is someone out that has been brutalized by that bastard but is afraid to speak up.

He needs to be terminated.

The little putz was still fighting the cops for no apparent reason. If I was cop #1 I would have called for a second cop as well.

Again...the kid asked for it.
All he had to do was let the cop cuff him passively and be done with it. Doing ANYTHING more was just going to escalate it. The kids was obviously too stupid to GET IT.

I understand what you're saying and I tend to side with the cops when they are up against some shit that's resisting but I get the feeling the other cop didn't give a shit what the kid was doing.

I think he's a bully, I don't think what he did was warranted, I think he was extreme in his language and behavior. Just my opinion.

I don't imagine the officer will be punished either.

I didn't post what I did lightly.

The first officer had him in a bear hug wrestling hold, how did this start out? In addition after the first officer was managing things the second one though going over the top STOPPED the situation in the least violent way he could given my understanding of the hiring practices of modern officers. He dominated the scene in the protection of a fellow officer. I don't have to agree with his tactics but I understand his logic.

You know..he flew out of nowhere and just nailed the kid, I was a bit surprised.

I think the language used really nailed it for me. If you have to subdue someone, get physical with them I understand that but the threats of death and all that, it just didn't sit well with me and like I said before, I generally side with officers when they have someone completely unruly and unwilling to calm down. I mean they carry guns, they can't afford to have someone break free, swipe their weapon and injure/kill either them or someone else. I know that has a lot to do with how officers act, they're on guard.

Still think it was excessive but maybe I'm wrong. I just didn't like how the other officer behaved. I think he could have been much more professional, and with a lot less threats and shit talking. He came off like some ghetto thug.

If only more people understood this.

As I posted I think the kid had it coming (for the most part) but the fact that videos such as these become more common place they tend to stretch the norm.
