If Hussein doesn't veto this I think it will be perfectly clear where his loyalties lie despite his reassurances he's committed to Israel's safety !

This will open a whole new can of worms in the region but hey...can't say I'm surprised, I expected this when the muslim-in-chief got reelected !

Historic.

UNITED NATIONS (AP) — The Palestinians say the U.N. General Assembly will vote Thursday afternoon on a resolution raising their status at the United Nations from an observer to a nonmember observer state.

There are no vetoes in the General Assembly and the resolution, which needs a majority vote for approval, is virtually certain to be adopted.

Has the nations come under one banner against the Lord and His people?

Has the nations come to make a ruckus with their pride?

Do they demand from God what is not theirs?
Do they not give Him and reverence or respect?

Who are these but little gnats protesting against the wind?
Who are these but little ants trying to move a mountain?

How foolish are their hearts and their blindness confounds them.

What will do when the Lord comes to their calling?
Or comes to act on their protests and evil plannings?
How will they hold up to His anger and His Wrath?

Every one of them will lashed with a strong whip from the bottom of their feet to the top of their heads.
Not a spot on them will be spared for they will be covered with lashes.

And they shall be chased from one end of the earth to another.

Great and Terrible is the Day of the Lord's Wrath.
Great and Terrible is the Day of the Lord's Anger.

In Jesus Christ.

Good. You can't declare war properly with a "region".

Once they're a sovereign country, military intervention will be necessary when Palestine decides to launch rockets at a neighboring country. There's no excuse for letting it slip by once the whole country is accountable.

Much ado about nothing:

1) UNGA has NO legal autghority to create a state, so the vote is largely symbolic. Only UNSC can do that, and US veto will not allow it.

2) Mahmoud Abbas official presidential term has expired 3 years ago, and he is not even recognized in Gaza. So it's impossible for him to legally represent fictional "Palestinians"

3) PA and PLO, along with Hamas in Gaza, both engage in widespread terror activities, and in incitement to genocide in their schools & media. That violates THE most important principle of UN that the applicant entity for statehood be "peaceful". All easily provable & demonstratable.

4) The League of Nations decision that grants Israel a MUCH bigger state is still legally valid because it's enshrined into the relevant articles of the very founding Charter of its successor, the United Nations. So any Palestinain State within "1967" lines, would make absolutely zero legal or moral sense.

5) UNSC Resolution 242 and its author Eugene Rostow both affirm the right of Jews to build anywhere in the land -- until the 2 sides sit down and negotiate a final-status agreement ---> which Palestinians have refused & avoided every single time. Fact.

6) Such unilateral step by Abbas violates the very letter & spirit of the Oslo Accords (which formed PA on Israeli tax-payer money, incidentally)

7) Netanyahu has been on record as practically begging Abbas to negotiate with no pre-conditions (ie first recognize Israel as Jewish State, etc). Bibi even froze settlement construction, as slow-paced as it is, for almost a year back in 2010 -- much to the dismay of his Right-wing fellow party members. And what did Abbas and Palestinians do as a response to such gesture of good-will? More terror incitement in their kindergardens, more diplomatic/propaganda war against Israel on international arena -- and of course more rockets. All that after Arafat promised to foresake terror as a condition of the Oslo Accords????

LOL, Arab-Muslims sure do honour any agreements and promises they sign, going back to the days of their Prophet Mohammad.... NOT!

Israel should annex the so-called "Area C" and unpopulated parts of "Area B" in the West Bank, including the Jordan Valley. Let Palestinians have the small Area A where most of Arabs live. Let them fend for themselves. It's their fault.

8) Oh yeah and then there is that whole "UN member-state must be ecnomically self-sufficient" clause.... that Palestinian-Authority cannot live up to because their entire existence is based on Israeli taxpayer & Western aid donations. Nevermind that PA has no control of Gaza at all.

So how on earth can UN possibly admit them without violating like a dozen of its own principles & regulations?

It's sheer lunacy --- but then of course, UN has become a joke ran by Muslim oil bribes & assorted 3rd world banana republic dictators.

Unfortunately, it's not so simple.

Now you're right in that UN, in recent years, has indeed become quite useless when it comes to solving REAL problems--- real genocide, real conflict, real hunger, etc.

However, when it comes to the fake-Palestinians and their utterly PHONY cause of statehood --- their real cause being destruction & domination of the Jews..... then the UN suddenly perks up its collective ears and goes to work like envious determination!

I mean, who cares that by even entertaining the Abbas delegation, UN violates a dozen of its most cherished principles & rules! When it comes to hurting Jewish intersts, UN has shown itself willing to sell their own proverbial mother (if not for UN veto).

Abbas could then sue Israel at the Hague for everything and anything, no matter how frivolous or ridiculous.... knowing that Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE and Iran have essentially purchased the international judiciery or pretty much any other Western beurocracy ----> including the Democratic Party in our very own US of A.

But the joke is on THEM --- thus move will lead to WAR, in which Sunni Gulf Monachries will see their oil-intrasructure and the massive wealth that comes with it, DESTROYED...... probably by Iran, not even by Israel, ahahaha.

Europe Divided Ahead of U.N. Palestinian Vote

Spain has followed France in announcing it will support a Palestinian bid for enhanced status at the United Nations when the issue goes to a vote of the General Assembly.

Within hours, however, Britain indicated on Wednesday that it would abstain unless the Palestinians met its conditions for a “yes” vote.

Pro-Israeli stalwarts such as the Netherlands have said in advance that they will not support the Palestinian bid. Frans Timmermans, the Dutch foreign minister, said it would not contribute to the peace process.

As long-term Middle East-watchers are fond of remarking, the peace process is sadly all process and no peace.

With new French backing, Palestinian envoy predicts historic UN vote recognizing statehood

The Palestinians predicted a historic U.N. vote recognizing their statehood this week, praising important new support from France on Tuesday and likely backing from other European nations seen as critical to enhancing their international standing.

The United States and Israel strongly oppose the resolution, and there are fears it could torpedo Palestinian hopes of quickly resuming negotiations with Israel to end their decades-old conflict. Israeli officials have already said they will not return to negotiations after the vote and believe it instead undermines hopes for a peace deal.
