Why would this jeoprodise Israels safety? if Palestine is given a seat at the UN they will be accountable for all the rockets fired at Israel, and subject to international sanctions. Israel may actually get some credibility out of this move.
Quoting: NSF001 Gaza is already under a blockade by Israel, there are basically no more sanctions that can be imposed on them that would be any worse then what they already have...thus Hamas will keep firing its rockets at Israel but when it comes to the IDF retaliating that's where it gets more complicated ! Cos now when Hamas attacks Israel with rockets again the UN will turn a blind eye...and when the IDF retaliates everyone will cry wolf on how Israel is attacking a sovereign nation, regardless of the fact that Israel is the first sovereign nation being attacked !
