UNITED NATIONS (AP) — The Palestinians say the U.N. General Assembly will vote Thursday afternoon on a resolution raising their status at the United Nations from an observer to a nonmember observer state.
There are no vetoes in the General Assembly and the resolution, which needs a majority vote for approval, is virtually certain to be adopted.Link

Has the nations come under one banner against the Lord and His people?
Has the nations come to make a ruckus with their pride?
Do they demand from God what is not theirs?
Do they not give Him and reverence or respect?
Who are these but little gnats protesting against the wind?
Who are these but little ants trying to move a mountain?
How foolish are their hearts and their blindness confounds them.
What will do when the Lord comes to their calling?
Or comes to act on their protests and evil plannings?
How will they hold up to His anger and His Wrath?
Every one of them will lashed with a strong whip from the bottom of their feet to the top of their heads.
Not a spot on them will be spared for they will be covered with lashes.
And they shall be chased from one end of the earth to another.
