NASA Says Mars Discovery Isn't 'Earthshaking' After All
After telling the world that the Mars Curiosity rover made a discovery "for the history books," NASA is now downplaying the importance of what was found.

NASA spokesperson Guy Webster elaborated some on the discovery, hoping to realign people's expectations.

"It won't be earthshaking but it will be interesting," Webster told Time. "As for history books, the whole mission is for the history books."

That's not to say the rover didn't stumble upon something of immense scientific importance, just that earthlings need to cool their heals a bit about what was discovered on our extraterrestrial neighbor...

Cool our heads?

You mean... not use our imagination?

I'm pretty sure that's the frequency
and efficiency being generated when we
don't cool our heads down.

Maybe they were told to not publish the findings and now hey try to minimize the impact in the media?

I heard they found methane. I'm sure if it goes against the status quo then it will be swept under the rug.

So let me get this straight.

First they say "The Curiosity Rover has made an earth-shaking discovery".

They publicly say that "The world is not ready for this discovery just yet".

THEN they add to this hyperbole and say "This is a historic discovery, absolutely earth-shaking. We'll meet on December 3 and discuss the finding then."

And now they're downplaying all of that..?

My guess is that they DID find something earth-shaking (probably definitive LIFE on Mars) but were briefed on what the ramifications would be for religions around the world.

So now they're pretending that they didn't say any of it at all and will probably release something else the Curiosity Rover found, like a meteorite sample.

PLEASE THINK ABOUT IT.

Logically, the HEAD OF THE NASA MISSION would be absolutely insane to say something like that to the world without meaning it.

People sit up and take notice of things like this.

I can guarantee you as a Journalist heavily trained in media, public relations and internal communications that something is highly amiss about this latest statement from NASA.

Something is clearly going on that they don't want us to know about.

Any rational mind would reach the same conclusion based on the facts.

I think they found something that will make space fanboys spill there seed, but realized that proof of single celled organisms on Mars means very little to anyone else.

So now they're pulling back from it, after the initial swelling has gone down for them and the pressure is gone.

Maybe they WANT us to use our imagination so they can then leave it up to the 'others' to feed our fantasies with their own story, while simultaneously gaining our attention, or energy.
