Quoting: Anonymous Coward 24209131 First of all, I have never seen a blu ray movie sold for 40 bucks anywhere and how is this blatant price changing even legal? Oh for cripes sake it freaking 10 bucks. Get a life. |

| Anonymous Coward User ID: 927602 11/26/2012 10:42 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Amazon.com is having massive problems right now, mainly in reporting things rapidly, but also in how they push certain products over others, aiming to get high ticket items in front of peoples faces this year. I have behind the scenes info, and the problems are huge. Not reporting sales, or updating shows on time. (It doesn't seem like a big deal, but the more people that get shown a product, the more likely someone is to buy it. The more you sell, supposedly, the more they show people your things. Except they really aren't doing that and haven't been for months.) My thought is that they over-reached, and did it foolishly during a depression, so are now trying to hold sales for several hours from the reports in order to influence what will sell, in order to make them the highest amount of money at any given moment. It doesn't chock me that they might also be trying gimmicks to increase sales. |
| Anonymous Coward User ID: 11167097 11/26/2012 10:47 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | OP is exactly correct. I have been watching various items, mostly electronics, for a several months. Everyone of these items are "on sale" for the same price as before. Only now they have a price 100-200 more crossed out. not only Amazon, but others too. JCPenney and Macy's do it every other weekend all year long. People flip their shit and go nucking futs. |

Then they can make money on the sale of other things later that support that product. [link to androidheadlines.com] I'm only human, it's my biggest flaw.
