It is so striking that I think religion is the root to hate. In real life, I don't really know that many religious people. My mother is religious, but she deals with it in a healthy way. She doesn't carry any hate towards anyone, so it can be done. |

I don't do it often, I try not to be a dick and am not anti-religion, but sometimes I will read or see something that will get under my skin. Illuminati propaganda, veiled threats, and demonizing free expression use to enrage me. For the most part I try to ignore it now. More often than not, reprisals are exactly what they want. That way they can point at it and say, "see there!" Then whatever is said becomes a part of their argument, or they have a new object to hurl their spiritual arrows at with all the fiery righteousness they can bundle. Atheists can be the same way. Both sides attract those that grip onto a fraction of the truth claiming it is all until their hands bleed. |
