A few years ago, I was looking at the moon with my telescope and saw a flock of geese fly across the moon. Then I heard them. Hearing them came much later than seeing them. So from this we can assume that geese on the moon are really loud. And in space no one can hear you scream, but evidently they can hear you honk.

It is so unscientific to imagine that birds are not on the moon, as they are after all, migratory, some of them. You just have to keep looking. I'd suggest at least an 8" Schmidt or a 3" refractor type telescope and patience.

Also, since you are in Canada, OP, you have an advantage in your viewing as you are closer to the top of the world and therefore closer to the moon. We are going to have to depend on you to do the majority of the viewing and get you to report back to us.

Thanks for your inquiry, and don't forget to wear sunscreen while you watch the moon, because it is always a bright sunny day on the moon, and that reflected light can be harsh.

Birds do infact fly to the moon
there is a giant bird colony there

All birds go there on a mass religious pilgramage .

it takes between 1 and 2 years to fly there
and many do not complete the journey due to the dangers
of bird space flight.

UPDATE-----Well, I have been looking at the moon with my binoculars for 2 nights in a row now with no luck. I think tonight I will try to look through the binoculars, into the scope of my rifle for maximum zoomage. If I see one, I will try to shoot it down for evidence. Gonna shut up these moonbird shills once and for all!
