Desire directed outwards is the illusory search for happiness in objects, basically to find security for the illusory 'I' or ego which is mind created. It doesn't really exist, it is imagination, as are all objects. The basic desire is for desirelessness which means to be ourselves = pure BEING. We are pure awareness! Nisargadatta says: "Be empty of all mental content, of all imagination and effort and the very absence of obstacles will cause reality to rush in." Check out Nonduality for an insight to reality. |

Cold desires Warmth Warmth pushes into Cold. ![]() ![]() :) I'm not really sure, thats's why I'm asking. I'm trying to understand the forces of emotion, will, desire and a few others I can't think of at the moment. They seem to be the forces driving thought. A balance in these forces seem to cause chaos. "If you bring forth what is within you, what you have will save you.
