Strange ripples in STEREO COR1 dif images

never seen anything like this before but I'm guessing it's from a gamma ray burst?

the Sun is completely surrounded by energy in this pic.. ripples from a burst? in upper right of the image wtf?

if you scroll through the COR1 dif thumbnails from the 24th the ripples come and go at various times and the images before and after look calm
