God does not send anyone to hell. you chose to go there because you cannot accept his mercy. Sad childish misinterpretation of the Bible. The death of Christ has paid for everything. No amount of sin can measure against it.

When you die, the veil is lifted and your soul fully comprehends the good and wrong you have done. It is at that moment you "accept" the mercy and grace of God or cannot accept His mercy because it is too merciful/good. So you run away and dive into hell.

Hitler was a sick twisted man. But you *do* understand that he was at one point just a baby, right? Assuming he endured some kind of ugliness as a child which helped forge him into the poster boy for depraved human evil, would you agree that at some point he was a victim?

At what point should our compassion for the victim be replaced by merciless condemnation of the offender?

You folks are hardcore.

Be careful.

What bunch of shit that is. We are supposed to be responsible for our choices as children and teens?

Doesn't bode well for the credibility of the creator of the bible, if one has love and truth as the most important tenets of human creation.

That book is written with an agenda, not prophecy.

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 7880169

yes there is hell but its not what you think it is!

its Hell-ium!

it's counter part is Hydro-gene!

the 2 gases that are praticly everywhere in the multi-verse.

Water is the intelligent diseign! It requires 2 part of Hydrogen to make water and water host life on most part!

HELium however is the Base to all Radio-Active matter.

The sun is partialy made of Hellium ions.

Interestingly enough Hell - i - UM ( um being the noise made in your brain during meditation)

Why does the bible condome Hell? Maybe because those, whoever wrote it, wanted people to fear it.

If you do not understand the purpose of Fear, then Fear takes hold of your thoughts and Coorode everything you L-Earn.

The purpose of Fear is to Learn to love throught Experiance!

Those who Seek power shall find Control.
Those who seek Purpose shall find Unlimited power!
To live is to believe in the power of dreams! To dream is to believe in the power of love! To love is to Know the truth!
The Desire to Be fuel the belief that you Are which ignite the Will to Become which bring back forth the desire to be...
Let it be-come you! It means Stop seeking your higher self! It is seeking you! Stand still in your mind to calm the waters of your mind and then it shall find you, so you can ride those waves together!
your true self lies somewhere between your heart and your consciousness. It is called the heart consciousness, which is the creator, which is you!
The heart create the emotions and our mind evoke its purpose, from which we dream the life we live in order to imagine the nature of reality and finally remember love!

Be authentic, nobody else can do it for you!

No, I mean scriptures like these:

Ezekiel 18:30“Therefore I judge you, O house of Yisra’el, every one according to his ways,” declares the Master AHYH. “Repent, and turn back from all your transgressions, and let not crookedness be a stumbling-block to you. 31“Cast away from you all the transgressions, by which you have transgressed, and make for yourselves a new heart and a new spirit. For why should you die, O house of Yisra’el? 32“For I have no pleasure in the death of one who dies,” declares the Master AHYH. “So turn back and live!”

He chose not to make human machines, but to make beings in his own image, in his own likeness -- with liberty of choice, freedom of will, to choose good or evil. He seeketh not such to worship him as could not do otherwise, nor such to worship him as would do so under constraint, but, as he declares: John 4:23“But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father also does seek such to worship Him. 24“Elohim is Spirit, and those who worship Him need to worship in spirit and truth.

Matthew 8“And do not fear those who kill the body but are unable to kill the being. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both being and body in Gehenna.

and don't forget about the one "unforgiveable" sin: Mark 3: 28 Yes! I tell you that people will be forgiven all sins and whatever blasphemies they utter; 29 however, someone who blasphemes against the Ruach HaKodesh never has forgiveness but is guilty of an eternal sin.”

You see, unniversalims negates mankind's free will. It negates our Father's desire for a people who CHOOSE Him and instead force's Himself on humanity, even if it is after a necessary period of purification. That wasn't His purpose for creating us.

 Quoting: Shamar

Gehenna was a ditch down the road.

Q: When every knee bow and every tongue confesses the Lord, do you suppose He's going to force people to mouth this allegiance? Is that really God's style? Philippians 2 says this will occur "to the glory of God", and I think we would all agree there's no glory in forcing defeated foes into paying feigned lip-service. Mankind has seen far too much of this kind of thing already. Further, God makes it know earlier how He feels about people who go through the motions while their hearts are far from Him.

Consider Jonah, or Saul of Tarsus. They were pretty obstinate towards God, yet it seems He got through to them somehow, yes?

Freewill is essentially a modern idol, which we lift up above God - even though the whole book is the story of God's will being done *despite* man's objections.

Jesus said that the Father always hears His prayers.
He prayed for God's will to be done, in earth as in heaven.
What is a central point of God's will? To "have all men to be saved, and to come to the knowledge of the truth."
Ephesians 1 says that God works all things according to the counsel of His own will. Job 42:2 says that God can do anything, and nothing can derail His will. It kind of sounds like God is going to accomplish what He wants to, doesn't it?

Re: What type of monster God sends my loved ones into hell...
They had the same chance to repent you have- or I had for that matter. I chose, at 27 years of age, to admit my sinful nature and trust in Jesus.

Really? So you're the Author of your faith? That would explain why you guys perpetually demand others to be the Author of their own faith as well, as if someone can just conjure up faith on command. What a blessing. You probably don't know the half of what "same chances" most people get.

that is so eloquent it brought tears to my eyes.

I find this exceptionally moving. . .

<< However, the following three chapters have been purposely edited out! Apparently modern Christian publishers do not want people to discover The Unselfishness of God. These three chapters are the heart of Mrs. Smith's story. For these publishers to remove these three essential chapters from her book is like cutting out her heart. We at Tentmaker Publications feel it is time to restore, not only Hannah Smith's writings to her original form, but also restore the character of the God Hannah Whitall Smith worshipped and wrote about. >>

Re: What type of monster God sends my loved ones into hell...
The Bible reveals an important, yet often overlooked trait of God's nature and that is his thirst for blood. From the beginning of his dealings with man he has shown his preference for spilled blood; he accepted Able's offering of sheep's blood and rejected Cain's offering of grains and plants (Genesis 4:3-5). God has told man that the shedding of blood is required to be forgiven of sins (Leviticus 17:11, Hebrews 9:22). In the Old Testament, millions of animals were slaughtered and their blood poured onto altars and burned in a futile attempt to please God. The smoke from the burning flesh and blood was such a sweet scent to God (Exodus 29:18, Leviticus 1:9), that his anger was appeased when he smelled the sweet, burning blood (Genesis 8:21) Even the human/god sacrifice of Jesus is compared to the sweet smelling barbecue of an animal (Epehsians 5:2). Why is blood so sweet to this vampiric God? Why is blood required to be spilled in order to receive forgiveness from this "merciful" God? Don't ask these questions, "just believe," you will be told. Besides why risk ending up in an eternal barbecue just because things smell a little strange to you?

LOL, it is what it is. You accept or you don't. You can reject what was written all you want. I simply take it at face value.

It is called atonement.

Re: What type of monster God sends my loved ones into hell...
Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye
diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the
LORD your God which I command you. (Deut. 4:2)

And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy,
God shall take away his part out of the book of life (Rev. 22:19)

Now go, write it before them in a table, and note it in a book, that it may be
for the time to come for ever and ever: That this is a rebellious people, lying
children, children that will not hear the law of the Lord: Which say to the
seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak
unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits: Get you out of the way, turn aside
out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us.
(Isa. 30:8-11)

Yeah. Can I get you to quote for us where in scripture God first announced that sinners go to an afterlife of fire for all eternity? That in itself is an eye-opening exercise for anyone who's halfway objective.

^^^
more proof that God tells the truth in that lying is a religion to deniers of
Jesus Christ, the living Word (1 John 2:22)

But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness,
but is in danger of eternal damnation. (Mark 3:29)

so much for your satanic doctrine that everyone goes to Heaven

and that's "damnation," not peace, not rest, not nothingness...
"vengeance" and "punishment" (2 Thess. 1:8-9)

There is no peace, saith the LORD, unto the wicked. (Isa. 48:22)

give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith
the Lord. (Rom. 12:19)

So you quote from the new testament here, which was compiled in the 1st century, some 4000ish years after Adam and Eve.

Are you asserting that God waited all that time to inform people that when they die in their sins they'll wind up in your precious Hell?! Why did He not make it crystal clear to Adam & Eve right at the start of this mess? Why did He not announce it with Cain's sentence for murdering his own brother? Common sense says that such a monumental doom such as hellfire should have been presented pain as day at the earliest possible opportunity, so as to (somehow) prevent as as many lost souls as possible from participating, yes? Assuming God really loves us, right? Because if Hell is real, it doesn't really seem like He considered it very urgent to make it known. He gave Moses volumes of laws and directive, including such mundane concerns as how to menstruate. But not one mention of any burning afterlife. Obviously this God of Truth and Love was more worried about teaching us to wipe our butts than with alerting us to eternal, irrevocable doom. Go figure.

Blood is not necessary for atonement.

Our creator never wanted blood sacrifice nor asked for it. The lying pens of scribes and priests inserted those commands due to their own lust for flesh and blood.....brought over from Egypt/Mesopotamia......Babylon.
