(Ps 14:1)Just = the punishment fits the offense. It's plain as day in Exodus 21: an eye for an eye, tooth for tooth, and burn for burn. Yes, per God's own law, the only way someone could "earn" for themselves an eternity of endless burning is if they somehow burned people endlessly during life here on earth. I'm gonna go out on a limb and declare that I don't think that's even possible ;) Jesus saves. Why don't you believe this? Every time one has an unclean thought, looks at a woman with a lustful eye, or cusses, one has broken God's holy laws. All sin is abomination unto God. God's justice is different from man's. Jesus says non-believers will die in their sins (John 8:24). Imagine having to pay the price demanded by a Holy God for a lifetime of transgressing His holy laws. Jesus preached about the reality and terrors of hell abundantly. Do you believe you know better than Jesus how His true gospel should be preached?
