The point of raising tax on the wealthy is to spread it around, according to lord Obama. Since we are the wealthiest in the world by far here in the US, ALL of our taxes should go up according to his vision. Dem's should be loving the fiscal cliff tax hikes, gives them more money to play with and the rest of us less. I say we let it happen and live with the consequences. We deserve it for electing such immoral people. |

[link to www.usdebtclock.org] 16,293,611,425,235 AND .33 cents flying higher as I type. watch it fly a million dollars in under a minute. but a chip in everyone so they can be taxed and tracked throughout the day and night. Sleep Tax. Air Tax. Water Tax. Life Tax. Happiness Tax. Freedom Tax. Gotta pay that 16 trillion, (well actually just the interest on it) We are all so fucking stupid it is not funny any more. I'm off to grind up some prozace and zoloft into my RED bull and charge up some debt on my visa at 23.99 percent, I just pay the minimum every month so that bag of cheeze doodles ends up costing $75.00 over the next 5 years. |

| DoorBert (OP) User ID: 870568 11/27/2012 01:35 PM ![]() Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | LONDON — The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development on Tuesday sharply cut its forecast for the world economy, warning that failure to end the euro crisis and avert a fiscal impasse in the United States could cause a global recession. The O.E.C.D., based in Paris, predicted that gross domestic product in its 34 member countries, all of which have developed economies, would expand 1.4 percent in 2013, significantly below the forecast of 2.2 percent the organization made just six months ago. Even that forecast assumes that U.S. lawmakers reach a budget agreement to prevent billions of dollars in tax increases and automatic spending cuts from going into effect automatically at the end of the year. If the United States does not avoid that so-called fiscal cliff, “a large negative shock could bring the U.S. and the global economy into recession,” according to the forecast, written by Pier Carlo Padoan, the organization’s deputy secretary general and chief economist. Even leaving that possibility aside, the O.E.C.D. report makes grim reading, particularly with regard to the 17-nation euro area, which is mired in recession and is where the “greatest threats to the world economy remain.” [link to www.nytimes.com] |
