Also, before going to sleep I had boiled the kettle to make my self a hot drink of chocolate because it was fucking cold last night. The water in the kettle quite obviously was cold and this is a plastic well insulated kettle, and the sink is made of stainless steal a conductor of heat, it should therefore dissipate the heat away from the water and into the surrounding around under the sink where its very cold.
This just does not make any sense, this has never happened before...

Water bioled on the stove is the healthy method - microwaves are dangerous, they can also leak radiation when they get old, and they make food taste nasty/strange/bad. Sleep deprived, I mean we take the dinners out of the plastic tray (pan is the wrong word) that they come in and put them in a pan to heat them - it doesn't take that long, just keep it covered and cook just below medium heat.
