"MY SPIRIT, YOU ARE OMNIPOTENT. YOUR NAME IS HOLY. MAY YOUR REALM BE INCARNATE IN ME. MAY YOUR POWER REVEAL ITSELF WITHIN ME, ON EARTH AND IN THE HEAVEN. GIVE ME TODAY MY DAILY BREAD, AND THUS, LET ME RECOGNIZE MY TRANSGRESSIONS AND ERRORS, AND I SHALL RECOGNIZE THE TRUTH. AND DO NOT LEAD ME INTO TEMPTATION AND CONFUSION, BUT DELIVER ME FROM ERROR. FOR YOURS IS THE REALM WITHIN ME AND THE POWER AND THE KNOWLEDGE FOREVER,

Jesus said to follow him.
the word "Christian" which emerged in the books after the first four gospels, means to be "Christ-like".

Jesus is the model of how to be in mind, heart, spirit, strength.

However, Jesus IS God. They are one and the same.
Jesus said, "I and the Father are one."

Jesus is the one in whose name we pray.
We pray to the Father, but in the name above all names - Jesus.

We went over this my college class. You cannot have an all-powerful, all-knowing God and evil. It's not logical or rational. Either God knows what's happening and can't/doesn't care to stop it, or he is oblivious to the evils in the world.

As for Jesus, it's pretty obvious in the scripture that we're supposed to strive to be kind and forgiving as well as loving. Each commandment really comes down to "don't be a dick". I doubt you'd ever see Jesus holding a sign that says "God hates fags". Actually, the anti-homosexual thing came (not from Jesus but) St. Paul and his letters to the church (which also threw in misogyny and a stigma against sex in general).

Oh yes...because you learn so much in a junior college theology class.

Give me a break, I took theology in college and all they promote is Islam and mock Judaism and Christianity.

No....they don't have an agenda or anything...LMAO.

Have you READ the bible? It isn't about 'not having evil' in the world. In fact, the POINT of the bible is that MAN brought EVIL into the world by DISOBEYING GOD. We have a GENERATIONAL CURSE put on us, and the only way to BREAK it is to get right with GOD and follow his commandments.

That's the ENTIRE point of the book.

Please, get out of your 'college level' Theology class and do some serious study if you want to learn anything besides communism and Islam. The scripture says nothing besides 'don't be a dick'? This is what you learn in your so-called 'higher education' institution?

It's a 4 year brainwashing exercise. Been there, done that.

Answer is: Nowhere.

Worship of Jesus was invented by "priests" to divert people from truly understanding that the only thing that we need to do is loving each other as we love ourselves.
All great truths begin as Blasphemies.

Good answer sis.

I would like to take this deeper for the unlearned and start off by saying that when Christ comes back, HE will have a new name. He will not be called Jesus or His Hebrew written name.

This is for all of you.

John 1:1 (The Word) Who is that?

1 Esp. John 1:1 (The living Word) Who is that?

Now like I said Jesus will not come back as Jesus the Savior.

Rev. 19:13 defines who Jesus is and that is "The Word".

So John 1:1 is who?

I tried to engage this subject with you the other day Sis.
But you were busy with others on one of your thread getting the usual Christian blasting one and another.

Not your fault tho.

In the old testie in Isaiah 7:14 we see Christ there being spoken of.
The name Immanuel means "God with us".

So we do see a virgin in the New Testie and she gave birth to Immanuel.

Now the scriptures I posted should clean up anyones minds as to who Jesus really was and is and shall be forever.
Heaven and earth will pass away, But the Word will be forever. (Christians should know that verse and where to find it.)

Parentheses are mine...

John 4:23
But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit (Holy Spirit) and in truth (Jesus): for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

John 4:24
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth

Revelation 7:10
And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.

Matthew 2:2
Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.

Hebrews 1:2
Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?

6 And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.

the Holy Trinity was and always was/is.
there are many passages in the OT that named things before they had "names"

for example, the Word is Jesus. but, we are not given Jesus' name until later on.

another example, the "Restrainer" is the Holy Spirit. but, the Holy Spirit was not named until later.

Jesus is the Word, which is alive.
Jesus will come back as the Savior. do not be tempted to think otherwise.

Immanuel and Jesus are the same. the scripture reads that Mary gave birth to Immanuel and his name would be Jesus.

there are many reasons for this. too much to go into in this thread.

your deeper meanings that you try to drag people into are false and are leading you far away from your appointed station.

Cmon Christians please tell me!
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 28555464

You should have no doubt now who Jesus is after you read my posting.

The problem that you have is YOU do not know who YOU are in the relationship with the creator.

But by your words it defines to me who you are not.

1/3 followed Satan.
1/3 third did not give a hoot.
1/3 stood with God when Satan tried to take the thrown of God.

So which 1/3 are YOU!

Many Christians do not know the greatest mystery that has been kept secret from the foundation of this earth age. (Since Eth Ha Adam) to this very day.

So I do not respect you to understand what I just shared!

God was on this earth for millions and millions and millions of earth years and beyond.

We were with Him that is God. We were able to go up to God and talk and even get some hugs from HIM.

God took His kingdom off of this earth right after Satan's over throw attempt and moved to another dimension.
Psalms 23 all of tells us some simple secrets of why things are the way they are today and have been since the beginning of this earth age.

How so?

Verse 4. Read it.
We are in the valley of death. See any death going on in the world? Sure do.

There was a order given by God right after Satan tried to take 1/3 of the angels, which by the way are all of us. We are the stars (Job 38:7) spoken of in the book of Job that God had asked Job if he can remember and did he have that knowledge.

The order was given that all shall be born of woman to "replenish" the earth (Gen. 1:28) so we each can make up our minds are we going to Love God or love Satan. Satan is "death" (Heb. 2:14) and Christ defeated that death that is Satan.
But we still have free will are we going to love God, be at peace with one and another to live in eternity in that peace, or are we going to let Satan take each person with Him to the lake of fire.
I don't know about all of you, but I am kind of sick about all the things that go on in this earth today because Satan evil spirit does come against us all.

That is why God sent Jesus, to save us those who stood with God.
God had removed from our spiritual bodies and from out flesh bodies the knowledge that we were with Him in the beginning.
But as we see in Zechariah 13:8 and 9 that the 2/3 that either did not give a hoot and or followed Satan will be cut off. Perish!
So, your soul, your response's in this flesh life reflect who you are and were in the beginning.

Many don't give a hoot. So we can see who they are. Many follow Satan by their actions and what they do to others and to their selves.
And those that stood with God we see them also.

God has a plan, and the majority of people that lived, are living and shall live will never discover this hidden mystery until it is too late.

Now watch those who did not give a hoot respond.
Now watch those who stood with Satan respond.
Now watch those who seek the truth and want to love one and another and to Love our Father who created us respond.

So, what 1/3 are each of YOU!
blessings
( I am little star for a reason)I have claimed God as the one who created me, not Satan. I have claimed Christ as my Lord who opened my eyes to the truth through His teachings and His hidden manna that many cannot see.
