Don't get me wrong. I believe in God. Just not the false God of the Bible.

I don't see how anyone with the capability to think for themselves could worship such a monstrous deity.

Re: Bible Question? Where in the Bible does it tell Christians to worship Jesus?
Just wondering???
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 28555464

Jesus specifically said to worship his father Jehovah, never himself;

"Then Jesus was led by the spirit up into the wilderness to be tempted by the Devil. 2 After he had fasted forty days and forty nights, then he felt hungry. 3 Also, the Tempter came and said to him: “If you are a son of God, tell these stones to become loaves of bread.” 4 But in reply he said: “It is written, ‘Man must live, not on bread alone, but on every utterance coming forth through Jehovah’s mouth.’”
5 Then the Devil took him along into the holy city, and he stationed him upon the battlement of the temple 6 and said to him: “If you are a son of God, hurl yourself down; for it is written, ‘He will give his angels a charge concerning you, and they will carry you on their hands, that you may at no time strike your foot against a stone.’” 7 Jesus said to him: “Again it is written, ‘You must not put Jehovah your God to the test.’”
8 Again the Devil took him along to an unusually high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory, 9 and he said to him: “All these things I will give you if you fall down and do an act of worship to me.” 10 Then Jesus said to him: “Go away, Satan! For it is written, ‘It is Jehovah your God you must worship, and it is to him alone you must render sacred service.’” 11 Then the Devil left him, and, look! angels came and began to minister to him." Mt4:1

I have three different versions of the Bible right here next to me.

I cross reference them just to make sure I'm getting a clear message. I also have another bible in the original greek translation just to be safe.

The conclusion? The God of the Bible is not worthy of worship, no matter how convincing Jesus may be in his quest to get you to worship this murderous deity.

Say for the sake of argument that your statement is true, and that through reincarnation - we were responsible for these things. Since today we recognize and understand how terrible those things are, why should we still be punished or condemned for something we view as wrong? You are essentially saying that God does not forgive - therefore, there is no chance for any sinner to be saved.
 Quoting: Rising Son

Maybe if you were grateful for the life you were granted by almighty GOD... you wouldn't be so selfishly obsessed with getting your eternal heavenly riches for all time.

You selfish bastard.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 9788321

LOL - take it easy. You assume that I do not live my life according to Jesus' teachings, that I do not help others, and that I do not thank God for things He has blessed me with. Do I want to go to Heaven? Yes - why wouldn't I? However, that does not dictate why I choose to live a good life - I do so because it is the right thing to do, and I treat others with respect and love.
 Quoting: Rising Son

Because some people (like myself) don't give two fucks if we go to "heaven" or "hell". When you do a "good" work, it's for selfish reasons; it's because you get a serotonin rush in your brain, thereby fueling an addiction to pleasure.

To claim that you're doing it "just because" goes against your religion by the way. The correct answer should have been: "I do it for the glory of God almighty."

You truly are clueless, even in your supposed "faith".

Enjoy your hell.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 9788321

Sounds like you've got it all figured out - all feelings, actions, thoughts, and beliefs are generated by a chemical reaction in the brain, and that people who live good lives are only doing so for the "addictive" reward they receive from those chemical reactions. You know exactly what is going on in other people's heads and hearts, and everyone is the same.

Now, listening to that description of what you believe, are you sure you still want to advertise your mindset as such? I would wager no, but by judging your level of animosity for no reason, I might be proven wrong.

Neither have I come of my own initiative at all, but that One sent me forth. 43 Why is it YOU do not know what I am speaking? Because YOU cannot listen to my word. 44 YOU are from YOUR father the Devil, and YOU wish to do the desires of YOUR father. That one was a manslayer when he began, and he did not stand fast in the truth, because truth is not in him. When he speaks the lie, he speaks according to his own disposition, because he is a liar and the father of [the lie]. 45 Because I, on the other hand, tell the truth, YOU do not believe me. 46 Who of YOU convicts me of sin? If I speak truth, why is it YOU do not believe me? 47 He that is from God listens to the sayings of God. This is why YOU do not listen, because YOU are not from God.” Jo8:42

Well well well.
It is NOT about selfish obsessed with getting eternal heavenly riches for all time.

It is about Loving God, and loving one and another. After all you had your portion in the first earth age. (Job 38;7) and you sang with all of us without fear, without having to watch every move you made. You did not have to fear about someone deceiving you then. But today you do!

Do I expect you to receive this bit of truth? NOPE!

We are in eternity to rejoice, to love, and are not there to get riches. Everyone will receive a "LOT", a place of their own without one of the four hidden dynasties trying to take it from you from taxing and or otherwise.

Who wants to live in heaven with evil all around? Not me.
We are walking in the valley of death today all because of pride and evil.

I don't know about you, but I am quite sick of what is going on in the world.

I want to be able to walk up to anyone without fear of them trying to take my life from me or my family.

The 1/3 that followed Satan is being born in this last generation. That is why our bible tells us that all the world will worship Satan when he comes.

Look around, it is getting more evil per day.

Those who have the seal of God in their forehead will not be deceived by Satan.
And if you don't believe in God or Satan or nothing at all, that is your business.
We all sail our own ships (figure of speech) and it is up to you to find the mystery that has been kept secret from the foundation of this earth age.
 Quoting: Little Star

Unlike you I'm not arrogant enough to claim I've unraveled the mysteries of the universe.

I'm simply pointing out that the Hebrew God of the Bible is a horribly violent, murderous, genocidal, vengeful deity.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 9788321

Now you put words in my postings that I have not said. I never once said I knew the mysteries of the universe.
I said I have learned the plan of God. Nothing more.

Plan of God is one thing. Knowing the mysteries of the universe is another subject.

And if you see the Hebrew God as a horrible deity who am I to tell you differently.
Again, we all sail our own ships.
Your relationship with God is your business. And mine is my business.
REv. 9:4 Satan cannot touch those who have the seal of God in their forehead.
I did not write that, but the Word did.
And the seal of God is knowing Gods plan. Simple, yet truth.
 Quoting: Little Star

Satan (if such a creature actually exists) is most likely the deity you worship.

How can you condone murder?

How can you condone and worship a deity who creates an imperfect man only to torture and kill the man because he is imperfect??

Can't you see your God is a sadist bastard?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 9788321

Our creator God, does not want to harm anyone.

And in the "hour of temptation" which you most likely will see in your life time, you will know Satan and you will bow towards him because He does not want you to believe he is there and for real.

I am guessing, guessing only guessing and giving out supposition that you might see Satan in the year 2018. I did not prophecy, nor am I making a declaration about that year, but is only a supposition as to what I have learned in the Word and watching the latter day swarming going on.

So there is a good chance if you are alive in the flesh at that time, you will see your daddy, that is Satan.

God blinds the eyes of those He cannot trust with the plan of God.
My bible tells me that.
So what 1/3 are you?
And one more time, God has had to destroy men, woman, and children. And I told you why.
Even the animals were destroyed because of what was being done with them also.

Satan is absolutely beautiful in appearance and most will love him when he comes.

He will bring with him 7000 beautiful angels with him. And I bet you will drag your family to them thinking "it" is God.
My bible tells me that you will do that.

Thank you and God bless you.

Yes, I tried to teach that to Salt, but she did not agree with what you just said.

2 Cor. 13:1 is the formula for rightly dividing the Word.
Jesus taught this also. And Jesus wants us to listen to Him with our spiritual eyes, not our flesh . ( John 6:63).
This is why the none believer cannot see the depth of the Word because they only see with their flesh eyes.

Many many Christians struggle with this also.
Jesus sent out the disciples two by two. That reflects the same thing as 2 Cor. 13:1.

Christ always teaches with great depth and if you are learning the Word with your spiritual eyes, you will see all of His "Hidden manna".
God bless you.

Re: Bible Question? Where in the Bible does it tell Christians to worship Jesus?
Don't get me wrong. I believe in God. Just not the false God of the Bible.

I don't see how anyone with the capability to think for themselves could worship such a monstrous deity.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 9788321

Are you really thinking for yourself? You came up with that how?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 7111119

From reading the "Holy" Bible and deciding for myself.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 9788321

So which Holy Bible did you read? What passage or passages are you refering to? Which testaments? You never developed a relationship with the one you hate from the inside out. That will change as you age.

Re: Bible Question? Where in the Bible does it tell Christians to worship Jesus?

 Quoting: Little Star

You are incredibly arrogant and borderline blasphemous by biblical standards if there was a hell, you'd be headed there.

I will "bow" to no God until they've earned my admiration through their deeds, not their words.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 9788321

Well thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I am sure you will get your wish, God always delivers on what people want, like playing with snakes. lol

I am sure you have no knowledge to the Word to be able to make a statement like you have. So I forgive you in love and hope someday you will find peace in your heart for all of us that do not feel that life has given them a raw deal.

Furthermore, I would not want you to bow to any God either if that is your purpose. We can count on you being up front to check out Satan when he comes.
And as for blasphemous goes, I don't think you full understand that word when it comes to the Word, that is the bible.
Go read if you choose to do so, Mat. 12:31 and 32.

I can show you the sister verse of this and or the second witness to this declaration of Christ teachings. But what good with it do? Take up space on glp server. lol

How do you think God would feel about the way you are treating His other children? Again, you are assuming I and others like me are not genuine because you are projecting your own deception on us. Try not to assume so much - I am not hiding my animosity because I have none towards you. If you do not believe me, it matters not and it doesn't change what I believe and feel.

Cmon Christians please tell me!
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 28555464

You should have no doubt now who Jesus is after you read my posting.

The problem that you have is YOU do not know who YOU are in the relationship with the creator.

But by your words it defines to me who you are not.

1/3 followed Satan.
1/3 third did not give a hoot.
1/3 stood with God when Satan tried to take the thrown of God.

So which 1/3 are YOU!

Many Christians do not know the greatest mystery that has been kept secret from the foundation of this earth age. (Since Eth Ha Adam) to this very day.

So I do not respect you to understand what I just shared!

God was on this earth for millions and millions and millions of earth years and beyond.

We were with Him that is God. We were able to go up to God and talk and even get some hugs from HIM.

God took His kingdom off of this earth right after Satan's over throw attempt and moved to another dimension.
Psalms 23 all of tells us some simple secrets of why things are the way they are today and have been since the beginning of this earth age.

How so?

Verse 4. Read it.
We are in the valley of death. See any death going on in the world? Sure do.

There was a order given by God right after Satan tried to take 1/3 of the angels, which by the way are all of us. We are the stars (Job 38:7) spoken of in the book of Job that God had asked Job if he can remember and did he have that knowledge.

The order was given that all shall be born of woman to "replenish" the earth (Gen. 1:28) so we each can make up our minds are we going to Love God or love Satan. Satan is "death" (Heb. 2:14) and Christ defeated that death that is Satan.
But we still have free will are we going to love God, be at peace with one and another to live in eternity in that peace, or are we going to let Satan take each person with Him to the lake of fire.
I don't know about all of you, but I am kind of sick about all the things that go on in this earth today because Satan evil spirit does come against us all.

That is why God sent Jesus, to save us those who stood with God.
God had removed from our spiritual bodies and from out flesh bodies the knowledge that we were with Him in the beginning.
But as we see in Zechariah 13:8 and 9 that the 2/3 that either did not give a hoot and or followed Satan will be cut off. Perish!
So, your soul, your response's in this flesh life reflect who you are and were in the beginning.

Many don't give a hoot. So we can see who they are. Many follow Satan by their actions and what they do to others and to their selves.
And those that stood with God we see them also.

God has a plan, and the majority of people that lived, are living and shall live will never discover this hidden mystery until it is too late.

Now watch those who did not give a hoot respond.
Now watch those who stood with Satan respond.
Now watch those who seek the truth and want to love one and another and to Love our Father who created us respond.

So, what 1/3 are each of YOU!
blessings

You can show me verse after verse but I've read them all before.

The difference between you and I is that I read them without fear of death nor fear of heaven or hell.

Without fear, your mind grows clear and sober. You realize you don't need a "messiah" to save yourself. God gave us everything we need to live in peace. It's already within each and every one of us.

How do you realistically expect to "free people's minds" by attacking them? If you really want to get through to someone and help them, your approach may not be as effective as you think. Stop generalizing all religious people as overbearing and condescending - I haven't done that to you and I will not. I believe the best way to help other people choose to welcome God in their life is by following His laws and living my life according to the teachings of Jesus Christ. I want to help others by my example, not my words.
