Message Subject Bible Question? Where in the Bible does it tell Christians to worship Jesus?

Jesus said to follow him.
the word "Christian" which emerged in the books after the first four gospels, means to be "Christ-like".

Jesus is the model of how to be in mind, heart, spirit, strength.

However, Jesus IS God. They are one and the same.
Jesus said, "I and the Father are one."

Jesus is the one in whose name we pray.
We pray to the Father, but in the name above all names - Jesus.

Good answer sis.

I would like to take this deeper for the unlearned and start off by saying that when Christ comes back, HE will have a new name. He will not be called Jesus or His Hebrew written name.

This is for all of you.

John 1:1 (The Word) Who is that?

1 Esp. John 1:1 (The living Word) Who is that?

Now like I said Jesus will not come back as Jesus the Savior.

Rev. 19:13 defines who Jesus is and that is "The Word".

So John 1:1 is who?

I tried to engage this subject with you the other day Sis.
But you were busy with others on one of your thread getting the usual Christian blasting one and another.

Not your fault tho.

In the old testie in Isaiah 7:14 we see Christ there being spoken of.
The name Immanuel means "God with us".

So we do see a virgin in the New Testie and she gave birth to Immanuel.

Now the scriptures I posted should clean up anyones minds as to who Jesus really was and is and shall be forever.
Heaven and earth will pass away, But the Word will be forever. (Christians should know that verse and where to find it.)

the Holy Trinity was and always was/is.
there are many passages in the OT that named things before they had "names"

for example, the Word is Jesus. but, we are not given Jesus' name until later on.

another example, the "Restrainer" is the Holy Spirit. but, the Holy Spirit was not named until later.

Jesus is the Word, which is alive.
Jesus will come back as the Savior. do not be tempted to think otherwise.

Immanuel and Jesus are the same. the scripture reads that Mary gave birth to Immanuel and his name would be Jesus.

there are many reasons for this. too much to go into in this thread.

your deeper meanings that you try to drag people into are false and are leading you far away from your appointed station.
