Re: Bible Question? Where in the Bible does it tell Christians to worship Jesus?
Jesus said to follow him.
the word "Christian" which emerged in the books after the first four gospels, means to be "Christ-like".

Jesus is the model of how to be in mind, heart, spirit, strength.

However, Jesus IS God. They are one and the same.
Jesus said, "I and the Father are one."

Jesus is the one in whose name we pray.
We pray to the Father, but in the name above all names - Jesus.

Take Easter, Ishtar the Babylonian Goddess, Decreed that every Easter , ham should be eaten to commemorate her lover Tammuz who was killed and eaten by a wild boar. In Sumeria, the Delphinus constellation was known as the pig or boar which is shining in the East, rising in the pre dawn sky..Tammuz resurrected within the pig.

Ishtar, Innana is also the story of how Venus seems to fall and dip and disappear then rise again preceding the sun as morningstar when she went underground to rescue her lover Tammuz

Christianity is a way to understand these things. and encode knowledge.

How arrogant can you be to claim to know "the complete plan of God"???

You have all been deceived by the true anti-christ.

Isn't is cool to see people who do not know the plan of God and then quote things back to me about the anti-christ.

I bet you don't even know who the real anti-christ is. lol

Think about it... The fictional character of Jesus turned our attention and prayers away from the ONE TRUE GOD.

Now the Romans have us worshiping this half-man half-God hybrid....

HOW MUCH MORE OBVIOUS COULD IT BE???

PRAISE BE TO THE ONE TRUE GOD. CREATOR OF ALL THINGS.

why don't you christians have a crack at worshipping the roman emperor constantine, i mean he is the true founder of your religion. If he hadn't converted the roman empire to christianity (by the sword, because thats what christ would have wanted)in the 3rd centuary, then your religion would have been nothing more than an obscure faction of judaism that got lost in history. Another interesting fact, after you guys burnt the library of Alexandria containing 3,000 years worth of Eygption knowledge what did you christians use it for? Wait for it....A barn. Yes that's right you used it to house livestock, awesome.

Hey, I hear ya and all, but can you explain how I personally or we "guys" burnt the library of Alexandria. I mean, not even my dad was born yet when that happened.

constantine? Constantine ! Do you really think He changed everything for we Christians?

You speak as if you know Christ personally. "Thats what Christ would have wanted" statement. lol

Hey, let me love God and let me love Christ and I will not have any issues with you being who you are. Then we can have peace and respect. ok.

Prove it! lol

Tell me it ain't so Joe, tell me. lol

I do not believe in reincarnation. Sorry.

My inner spiritual body is the same as God created it.
That same spirit is the same as it was. And when I die, that same spirit goes back to God who created me.
Eccl. 12:6 and 7.

Reincarnation means we are reborn even having a different look of the flesh body.
Nope, our spiritual body looks just like our flesh body, always.
But you can believe any way you wish about your life. It is none of my business.

But I know who you are from the beginning. lol

You are a star in Gods eyes. The living God created you just the way you are and that is fine by me.

Say for the sake of argument that your statement is true, and that through reincarnation - we were responsible for these things. Since today we recognize and understand how terrible those things are, why should we still be punished or condemned for something we view as wrong? You are essentially saying that God does not forgive - therefore, there is no chance for any sinner to be saved.

Just wondering???
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 28555464

The story of Jesus is the story of the rebirth of the Sun at Winter solstice..

Cancer (the manger) with Aselus Astralis and Borealis the two donkey stars, falls to the west right before Dawn.

Mary and Joseph bed for the night before the Sun Son rises in the East..

Let them observe their solar religion. It goes way back to the Persian astrologers and Zoroaster, Mithras..

Its a way to tell time and seasons.

Christians have encoded that knowledge for so long. If TSHTF then at least kids and remember the stories and carry it onto their children.
 Quoting: APOLLO ILLUMINIST

I usually don't like taking with you, but your first sentence is so laughable.
Eze. chapter 8:16 is what God got upset with when Jaazaniah had everyone do the evil that they done that day.

Jaazaniah means "I talked to God today". He was a liar like many today.

God got upset because those priest were worshiping the sun as we see in Eze. 8:16. Go read chapter 9 of Eze. and tell us all that it did not upset God.

Now here you are saying the same thing that Jaazaniah had said to those people. Hummm, I wonder who you are ? lol

They worshiped Satan's bride Istar that day also. Yep, you are a bit confused as to what God likes and dislikes.

So, No Jesus is NOT the sun. I am sure you will point out Malachi chapter 4:2 and says, "see even your King James bible says the word "Sun" and that is who Jesus is."
And when you do, I will laugh at you.
This is how the "hidden manna" is kept secret from those that don't truly love the Creator that is God.

I am sure also that if you were to read Isaiah 24:23 you would think the moon and the sun there have feelings and thoughts. LOL

The moon is the seed of Satan, and those that work his works for him.
The sun is the children of God who get caught into the traditions of mens church systems and loose their way in the "hour of temptation".

And we see that today on glp as proof, many have lost their way.

The moon and sun do not have feelings. If so, right a song about it and tell us all about the "Feelings, woe woe, feelings, the sun has feelings, woe woe woe. " lol

I love that hidden manna that keeps the eyes of those shut that God cannot trust to carrying on with his truth...

So, in conclusion, Jesus is not the SUN. lol

I understand it quite clearly.

Again we can see the name Tammuz in Eze. chapter 8. God hated that teaching and that lie.

Yes, I am a Christian, and I know all about "Easter" which is in Acts. 12:4.

The Celtic scribe who put that word there in Acts 12:4 left his thumb print all through the bible.
Six times in the new testie we see the word passover. On the 7th, which is written in Acts 12:4 we see that Celtic scribe for King James play with the truth of the Word to make people joust with one and another.

Sottish. Look the word up. There is one of the first thump prints left by that Celtic scribe for King James. He played with the Word on purpose from what I see in his thumb prints.
Kind of like you with your Sun is Jesus story.

Funny how the Word states differently than what you are presenting.

Eze. 8:14 is your story that Jaazaniah pushed too "Tammuz". God hated it, and I wonder how He sees you today pushing the same thing?
Are you Jaazaniah reincarnated ? I just kidding with you. lol

I think you need to do some more studying on the subject you brought up when it comes to the Word.

Because some people (like myself) don't give two fucks if we go to "heaven" or "hell". When you do a "good" work, it's for selfish reasons; it's because you get a serotonin rush in your brain, thereby fueling an addiction to pleasure.

To claim that you're doing it "just because" goes against your religion by the way. The correct answer should have been: "I do it for the glory of God almighty."

You truly are clueless, even in your supposed "faith".

Enjoy your hell.

And NO Jesus is not called earth Pig. You lack a bit there !

I have had this same conversations with tons of folks just like you.

Go read what I posted about what the bible says about Tammuz.
Eze. chapter 8..

See, it is either correct or incorrect. And the way I see it is, that you are incorrect in what you are presenting.

Eze. chapter 9 God sent angels down to take out all of those that participated with the Tammuz, Sun worship scenario.
And here you are presenting it as if it is Jesus.
I am laughing at you because someone has pulled you from what is written in the Word. Laughing but sad too.

I have seen tons of your postings, and I would love to work you over using what is written in the Word. But you sir are a waste of my time.

Well well well.
It is NOT about selfish obsessed with getting eternal heavenly riches for all time.

It is about Loving God, and loving one and another. After all you had your portion in the first earth age. (Job 38;7) and you sang with all of us without fear, without having to watch every move you made. You did not have to fear about someone deceiving you then. But today you do!

Do I expect you to receive this bit of truth? NOPE!

We are in eternity to rejoice, to love, and are not there to get riches. Everyone will receive a "LOT", a place of their own without one of the four hidden dynasties trying to take it from you from taxing and or otherwise.

Who wants to live in heaven with evil all around? Not me.
We are walking in the valley of death today all because of pride and evil.

I don't know about you, but I am quite sick of what is going on in the world.

I want to be able to walk up to anyone without fear of them trying to take my life from me or my family.

The 1/3 that followed Satan is being born in this last generation. That is why our bible tells us that all the world will worship Satan when he comes.

Look around, it is getting more evil per day.

Those who have the seal of God in their forehead will not be deceived by Satan.
And if you don't believe in God or Satan or nothing at all, that is your business.
We all sail our own ships (figure of speech) and it is up to you to find the mystery that has been kept secret from the foundation of this earth age.

Re: Bible Question? Where in the Bible does it tell Christians to worship Jesus?
...

reincarnation, most of the people on earth did all that stuff that came before these times. You ones were those people, no matter which part of history you wish to point out.
 Quoting: God Loves ALL

Say for the sake of argument that your statement is true, and that through reincarnation - we were responsible for these things. Since today we recognize and understand how terrible those things are, why should we still be punished or condemned for something we view as wrong? You are essentially saying that God does not forgive - therefore, there is no chance for any sinner to be saved.
 Quoting: Rising Son

Maybe if you were grateful for the life you were granted by almighty GOD... you wouldn't be so selfishly obsessed with getting your eternal heavenly riches for all time.

You selfish bastard.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 9788321

 Quoting: Little Star

Unlike you I'm not arrogant enough to claim I've unraveled the mysteries of the universe.

I'm simply pointing out that the Hebrew God of the Bible is a horribly violent, murderous, genocidal, vengeful deity.

Keep the faith. You are saved!
Don't let anyone tell you differently.
God loves us and John 3:16 tells us this.

God is not out to zap people. He does take people out who go against His plan, you can count on it.

Samuel 15:3 -
"Now go and attack Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have; do
not spare them, but kill both man and woman, child and infant, ox and
sheep, camel and donkey."

So I guess the sheep, camels, donkeys, and babies went against his plan did they?

You worship A HORRIBLE DEITY.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 9788321

Because of your ignorance of the Word you can make such a claim.
They all, all of them mixed with the Naphal, fallen angels.

Go read 2 Chron. 2:55. All of those tribes mixed with the fallen angels. Yea, I know what the tv history channel says about this subject.
But Gen. 6:4 we see the words "And also after that" when the sons of God came down and seduced woman.

Jesus points them out for you if you have eyes to see. They even took over the high seat or priest seat of Moses' as Christ said in Mat. 23 that is who Christ was pointing out in 2 Chron. 2:55.

But can't seem to see Jude 6 either.
Gen. 14:5, that tribe Rephaims was started by a very wicked angels called Rapha. He is not the same as the character written in the King James bible. That character Rapha is a different person.
And they kept coming down over and over and over again. And they shall come down again in the last generation. And I bet you will bow to them out of ignorance thinking it is some space gods like the whole world will be doing in the hour of temptation.

I wrote this out not to be a smarty pants, but in hopes that you will go read the Word now with this understanding about why God had them all killed. Hybrids!

I wonder why you could see what I posted and yet I got opposition from others. Hummm. You must be one of those that have their eyes opened.
I am a NOBODY, nothing.
But the Word is in control, not me.

Many blessings and peace and we shall sing forever in eternity with love in our hearts as it was before.
 Quoting: Little Star

I understood your post. And I also understood Salt's. What I don't understand is why you both though you were disagreeing! lol
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 28576731

Yea, I pointed that out. She was my second witness. lol

I was not disagreeing with her, I was pointing out that we do agree , yet the spirit of jousting comes into play.

I know Sis gets blasted all the time by others. Her defense is up all the time. Many have worked her over so much so and I have seen this all the time. So I understand why she does this.
But I truly care for her and her family as I do all .

Knowing the complete plan of God helps one become stronger in faith.
blessings and thanks my friend for pointing this out so I can make corrections in my postings and try to present things a little more clearer.
God bless
 Quoting: Little Star

i didnt say we are in disagreement. we agree on most of what you post. what i disagree with is posing yourself as somebody's master and seeking deeper meanings that are a bit too deep.

it's the delivery that concerns me. it's a hijack.
no offense.
 Quoting: Salt

Okay sis. Blessing to you and I take no offense.

By the way, I did not hyjack this thread either.
But I will try my best to bring what is written in the Word and in hopes that many will open their eyes. If you find fault with that , then I guess I have to say I am sorry about that too.

By the way, I want to say something to you. I have had a few success's on glp since I have been on glp. Some of them have met me who did not believe at all and have come to my house or me go see them. And all of them have been baptized.
But I tell them not to reveal me nor give out my real name.

Those who have met me know what I am all about. And they too have increased their knowledge by me teaching them how to study for themselves without me being in the picture.
I say much more to them in person than I have ever done on glp.
So, yes, I do add a bit more on thread when I get the opening. And if that offends others, I am sorry. I believe in God and I know who is my Lord.
I don't play church, or do I say things like 'Angels don't sin". I said that because if you read my posting about a pastor that the Lord lead me to this summer, you will understand where I am coming from.

The depth of the Word is far greater than most Christians know. And by me saying that to you, I am sure it bothers you a bit.
That is said without pride in my heart, but I am sure since I know people really well, someone will blast me for saying it.
blessings and peace. Thanks for being patient with me.

Thread: The Bible God: Cruel, Savage, Deranged, Evil, Barbaric, Intolerant, Insanely Jealous, Vengeful and Bloodthirsty?
 Quoting: Salt

From your own source that you just linked:

"Starvation and death may have been the plight of many Israelites who suffered the Amalekite raids. Now, is it conceivable that the Amalekite women and children had no knowledge of the suffering that was being inflicted on these people by their menfolk?? Highly doubtful! They probably not only knew about it but were complicit in it, maybe cheering their menfolk as they brought the booty home, excited to know how much they'd brought. What must it take to know of the suffering being inflicted on a people by your husbands and fathers and yet to be happy for it to continue? Surely if they were innocent bystanders who objected to their menfolk raiding the Israelites, they'd have pushed for Amalekite migration and attempted settlement somewhere with more fertile soil, or urged them to seek work in more prosperous areas and bring home an honest living to their families?"

So basically the wives couldn't convince their husbands to stop fighting so they deserved to die???? Hah!!! I hope God has mercy on you next time you lose an argument with your man!!!

"Also, the male children may have been trained for war from a young age, as happens in some primitive cultures."

So this is basically saying: "Yeah I'm sure God had a good reason but frankly ... we know..."

GOD KILLS IN MYSTERIOUS WAYS.

"Another reason for the killing of the Amalekite women and children as well as the men is that with the men responsible for the Amalekite raiding killed by the Israelites, survival for the rest would have been very difficult, because they'd have little to live on and it would have taken a while for them to move through the desert to somewhere else, and a slow death from starvation, thirst and exposure may well have ensued, or, with no one left to fight to protect them, capture by rival marauding slave traders."

Okay so which is it???? The wrath of GOD or a mercy killing???

YOU WORSHIP A HORRIBLE FALSE DEITY

Don't get me wrong. I believe in God. Just not the false God of the Bible.

I don't see how anyone with the capability to think for themselves could worship such a monstrous deity.
