As if this is something we don't know.

There was more interest given on a saving account even 10 years ago then there is today where it currently hovers around 1 percent while banks still charge 13% or more on their credit cards. Debit cards are free but the days of actually making money while having a savings account are pretty much gone.

In the article the emphasis is “Having more stuff does not make us happy.” I have to agree with this. More stuff is enslavement of time, energy and resources. But how to simplify?
