What Was Once Unthinkable, Is Now Happening!
We Are Witnessing Unprecedented Hunger In America While The Fed Still Printing Money To Push Food Price Inflation Even Higher!

All over America there are millions of people that will be missing meals and going hungry this holiday season. Even as much of the country indulges in the yearly ritual of unbridled consumerism that we refer to as “the holiday season”, more families in the United States than ever before will be dealing with not having enough food to eat. Food stamp use is at an all-time high. Demand at food banks is at an all-time high. They keep telling us that we are in an “economic recovery” and yet the middle class continues to shrink and the number of Americans living in poverty just continues to grow. We are witnessing unprecedented hunger in America, and this especially seems tragic during the holidays. Much of the country is partying as if the good times will never stop, but families that are living from one meal to the next are facing a completely different reality. How do you tell your children that there isn’t going to be any food to eat for dinner? How do you explain to them that other families have plenty to eat but you don’t? Sadly, many food banks are overstretched at this point. All over the nation, food pantries have actually had to turn people away because of the overwhelming demand. And more Americans used food stamps to buy their Thanksgiving dinners this year than ever before. This is a problem that is not going away any time soon, and when the next major economic downturn strikes the problem of hunger in America is going to get even worse.

The food banks do not have enough food for the hungry. The numbers of people out of work are probably just as high, if not higher than the Depression.

Here is the typical food a pantry gives out for a family of 4. You can only go to a particular food pantry once a month.

2 pounds hamburger
4 cans of vegetables
2 cans of fruit
2 boxes macaroni and cheese
small box of instant mashed potatoes
4 bananas
4 medium size potatoes
3 packages of old bread/rolls

This is 2-3 days worth of food for a family of 4.

I work and don't get food stamps. I am not hungry but have cut back a long ways. No more rib eye or even turkey. I had ham and sweet potatoes. Didn't go for fancy stuff this year. A know a lot of people who cut back this year.

Re: What Was Once Unthinkable, Is Now Happening!
The great depression was characterized by bread lines and bank runs. Those same things are happening today, but our technology has just masked them so that they aren't obvious to passers by. EBT cards allow 47 million people to stroll into a grocery store and act like they are buying food with their own money like anyone else. Electronic banking allows people to transfer huge amounts of money to try to protect themselves without beating down the door of their local bank.

All that is needed for complete chaos to ensue in just a matter of days is for the electrical grid to be shut off. Even leaving that up and running, a bank holiday where the currency is revalued would result in millions of people being rudely awakened to just how bad off they really are.
"God forbid we should ever be 20 years without such a rebellion. The people cannot be all, & always, well informed... If they remain quiet under such misconceptions it is a lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty... Let them take arms... What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants. " - Thomas Jefferson in 1787

By the way, I drive an old 1986 car, have you seen what those who go to the food pantry drive? See what poor mom wears...the gold jewelry.....
