To answer your question, I started seriously composing around when I was 16-17? Although I had been playing both guitar and keyboard on and off for 4 years and 6 years, respectively. I noticed that whenever I would get behind a keyboard and start composing, physically or digitally, I would fall into a trance and experience timelessness, leading me to think afterwards that what I'd created was a 5 minute song, but it would turn out being a 20 minute piece!

Ironically enough, back then I was heavily into the black, doom and death metal genres of music, yet at the same time the atmosphere and general sound of the music I created was very peaceful ambient music, which certainly bewildered the people who knew me back then!
