They did an awful job adapting Solaris. The book is much better.Stanislaw Lem's sentient sea deserved better than that.
 Quoting: zenobiaphobia

wow, where did that come from?

are you talking about Andrey Tarkovskiy solaris....or the remake?
 Quoting: pink cat

The book is about a sentient sea which is trying to communicate with humans, and scaring the crap out of them in the process. We carry our sea with us, and still live and die with the tides (most people really do die on the falling tide)

This is a really amazing video.

Viktor Schauburger was a forest ranger who studied nature, namely, water. He was "rectruited" by Hitler's regime in the 30s, into some black ops projects for his talents and knowledge about water, and how to apply his engineering techniques.

and it is time to ask for the consent of others to do things. this means all living things, water, protons, quarks, tuna, the sun.

Re: water is a magical shapeshifting sentient being: my reply to "A Millenial Proposal"
water is an amazing magical shapeshifting sentient being who moves through us, informing us of everything, becoming us, mirroring us, taking our thoughts and alphabets to distant lands. your drink of water was a cloud formed by the tears of a family in saudi arabia. your apple contains the water from the menstrual blood that came out of a 47 year old woman in canada. someone yelled at the ocean and a fish ate that, now it is in you from your tuna sandwhich. how will you decide to pass on your water to others? what messages will it contain about yourself and where will it go next?

entering the age of aquarius, the water carrier. "cloud computing" and even right now we are passing through a cloud scientists call 'the fluff". full of ancient information. the millienial generation, the so called "we generation", communal, the hippy dream fully realized in both it's positive and negative aspects, utopian ideals. fascism. sacrifice of the one for the many.

control over water. control over the cloud. how information is passed, channeled. before obama was elected biden likened what was ahead of them to "cleaning the augean stables" this is a herculean feat which was done by rerouting a river through the stable to clean it. they are doing this both literally and figuratively.

all the water infrastructure is crumbling. on purpose. and new channels, man made channels will be made. the new "damns" but water cannot be contained for long. it will always find a way out.

the millennial generation is going to have to understand this and let it flow. but now we are entering a time that will be much like the book "dune", i think. water IS "electricity". it contains it. and moves it.

but you cannot have peace while colliding particles together without their consent. this only leads to a place of no consent for anyone. cern, the hadron collider, nuclear fission, atom bomb, all of these things must end.

we have to stop acting like monkey who smash to rocks together and then see what happens. it's time to take responsibility. and it is time to ask for the consent of others to do things. this means all living things, water, protons, quarks, tuna, the sun.

all of it is alive.

trust in it's process.
 Quoting: pink cat

You are entitled to believe any crazy ting yu want to, but to imply that other who don;t believe that water is an entity are being irresponsible is not right. You are judging us based on the premise that what you BELIEVE is indeed FACT, but it is not. There is no evidence anywhere to support that water is alive, has consciousness, or feels our intent towards it. When you can prove what you believe, then you can tell others it is time to stop acting like monkeys. Until then, I would take the monkeys over someone that puts forth such silliness.
Also, why is this pinned?

someone always has to post this nonsense!!
This is a scam. The results meaningless. The man that made the claim that water isaffected by our thoughts was a scam artist. The photos are geniune, but he advised his apprentices that were helping him to only photograph crystals that matched the words labelled on the jars. if it was a negative word, hunt around for a crystal that was misshapen or ugly. if it was a positive word, find a perfect looking crystal. His experiment cannot be duplicated by anyone ethical, and i can't believe people still post his crap!!!!!

"In 2003, James Randi publicly offered Emoto one million dollars if his results can be reproduced in a double-blind study. No need to say that no one has won one million dollar from James Randi till date"

Gary Greenberg commented on Emoto's work:

"As a scientist, I was astonished. It didn’t surprise me that I couldn’t find any scientific experiments [Emoto] has performed or any peer-reviewed journal articles that have been published describing controlled studies of Emoto’s work. A further search revealed that Emoto’s degree was from the Open International University in India, where an M.D. degree costs $500 and a Ph.D. costs $350, no classes or tests required."

And any minute now someone will tell me i am wrong about the interconnectedness of all things by pointing out the hundredth monkey phenomenon. I will preempt that by pointing out that that was also pure hoax. The records clearly state that one of the monkeys was known to swim from one colony to the other, and that he took the habits with him, as evidenced by the observers. also the rate of spread was very gradual, not like the urban legend of them waking up one morning to find all monkeys were washing their food. it was a long slow process, started when one monkey swam over, washed his food, and one of the other monkeys imitated him.
