Healthy neighbor died of "natural" causes. Explain this please. | |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 5058229 United States 11/27/2012 12:47 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | There is most likely a cause of death that the autopsy missed I don't belive in them for that reason. I had two uncles who died at 32 on my mom and dads side. They were both healthy found doa at there homes. Autopsy in both cases inconclusive. |

PENG (OP) User ID: 1159762 United States 11/27/2012 01:01 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | sounds like maybe she vomited a bit during her sleep and chocked on it Quoting: wildhoney my condolences Thank you. Very sweet family she leaves behind. But she was awake and telling her husband she was having a hard time breathing, then she just went downhill after that. So shocking. What the poster above said about being her time to go.... I guess maybe. There was nothing wrong with her. Not even a cold. I had just never heard of people dying without a cause. Just so weird. I mean there has to be a cause, doesn't there? Autopsy came back nothing at all, not even inconclusive. Just in the shock of it, trying to digest how people just die like that. Sad. Quoting: S.O.S. I assume so. I can't wrap my head around it. She had a higher calling.... If one believes in this. Around 2000 attended her funeral from church, friends, family. She was very much loved. "May the road rise up to meet you.... May the wind be always at your back..." |

scimitar User ID: 161095 United States 11/27/2012 01:13 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | My neighbor was a healthy 45 year old. She wasn't overweight, active, no prescrip meds, drugs, etc. really great family also. Quoting: PENG She went to bed one night and around 11pm, saying she was having a hard time breathing. From what her husband said, she was kind of chocking or gurgling I guess. He started CPR, yelled for his college son to help, then called 911. His son also tried to revive her. She did not make it to the hospital. They did an autopsy, which showed nothing. Not one thing. She had no medical problems, no drugs, no heart issues. Couldn't find anything. She just died. I know very little about natural causes. I assumed it was just old age when it says natural causes. Sooo, wtf? So you can just die like that? At a young age? I saw her a couple months before this and she was same as always. Perhaps she was bitten by some tiny venemous creature with a neurotoxin that paralyzed her diaphram, an acute allergic reation, Or a small brain aneurism. There are numerous ways that fatal things can occur without being detected, especially if an the individual performing the autoptsy was somewhat less than competent. scimitar User ID: 161095 United States 11/27/2012 01:17 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | no such thing as a "natural death". NOBODY dies naturally. we die of "something". I don't know who made that bullshit up. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 14553694 From the moment we are born we are on a path to die naturally. If a person were to experience no trauma, disease or toxins they are still going to die......... So naturally means death with no physical trauma, no diseases(cancer, pneumonia....etc) and no toxins found in the body. Even then when you expire it's not like there isn't an ultimate cause of death, either heart attack, or your lungs stop working or you have too much fluid in them or another major organ fails. "Natural causes" does mean "we don't know what happened but we don't suspect foul play" is what natural causes means, man. |

But there can be a more definitive cause from autopsy. One of the most important aspects of conspiracy theories is being able to discern when there isn't one. Oh yeah, like you'd understand anyway. Where are we going and why am I in this handbasket?. . .J. Handy |

Quoting: Bluebird But there can be a more definitive cause from autopsy. Okay. Yes, that makes sense. I didn't think of it that way.. Guess I was thinking, natural cause was when you are older and the body just naturally shuts down. I guess an autopsy doesn't look at everything. Like post above said, maybe sleep apnea? So sad.
