Yes. I'm an employer. I will adjust my labor costs to offset my tax increases. Many that I know are planning to do the same. All of my employees were required to sign a noncompete agreement right after the election to keep their positions. Not all will be able to stay on, I fear.

12.7 Trillion-euro zone to 15.1 Trillion US debt this is not comparable when you consider land mass and resources of each entity. Without a doubt, each would benefit from less borrowing and living within their means and that means far less government and government meddling into businesses.
Could you image allowing people to use their brains and skills to find solutions for unemployment instead of waiting for a bloated socialist government to further screw things up by further expanding the government dependent class?
