Watching TV: A Poll
POLL: Daily and Weekly TV watching
I watch TV everyday (even for 5 minutes)
I watch TV just on the days "my shows" are on
I watch less than 60 minutes of TV a week
I do not watch any TV
 Blank (View Results)

Just wondering how much TV we watch here on GLP.

TV is the ultimate propaganda tool.

Re: Watching TV: A Poll
I voted 60 minutes. It probably fluctuates between 0 and 120. *shrug*

Walking Dead and that is all she wrote. Hell I download that so I don't have to deal with commercials.

Everything I watch is torrented, so the commercials have been stripped.

Re: Watching TV: A Poll
the really sad thing is that TV could be so great if it weren't for money and products and stupid people and small imaginations etc..

i'm talking about the real flow of information and ideas. forget computers and smartphones, for reaching everyone from 1-100 years old the tv could be so important and valuable but it was abused and demeaned and wasted. the 20th century could have been so different with the proper application of the tv.

it has power that cannot be denied.

"When you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing; when you see that money is flowing to those who deal not in goods, but in favors; when you see that men get rich more easily by graft than by work, and your laws no longer protect you against them, but protect them against you… you may know that your society is doomed." … Ayn Rand

"Our society is run by insane people for insane objectives. I think we're being run by maniacs for maniacal ends and I think I'm liable to be put away as insane for expressing that. That's what's insane about it." -John Lennon
