Three years so far, but it feels like we just met 3 weeks ago. I think alot of people get bored sexually because they stop taking care of themselves, don't make the effort to please the other, forget the element of surprise and occasional spontanious activities. If you touch a spot long enough it will become insensitive or not enjoy that touch as much. Sex is a basic need and if you're just with one person it helps to give yourself to them emotionally and physically in a variety of ways.

You are correct. When it comes down to sex for pleasure we focus entirely on what WE want. However i believe that in every aspect of a relationship the point is to never stop asking yourself how to please the other. That is why it is important to know yourself, and know that the other person is deserving of that attitude. To form a true bond so that when you think that way it isnt abused.

It's always there when it is a new partner. Unless one constantly fucks new partners...then it degrades. Then they move on to other methods...asphyxiation, public exposure, etc.

But wanted to say it's not always about people being 'dishonest' in the beginning of a relationship, but that over some years many people change, their desires change. Their sex drives don't necessarily stay compatible. And some people - men and women - just age differently. Some are young at heart and enthusiastic FOREVER and others not so much.
