Piss-Your-Pants Scary Netflix Movies: Instant Only

I always watch those B-list scary movies too. The last one I watched was Kill Theory. For a B-lister it wasn't too bad.

I have seen others on netflix recently, but they were not any good. Kill Theory is the only one I would recommend.

Have you seen the Chinese horror movie "Gin Gwai" a.k.a. The Eye from 2002? It was remade in 2008 I believe with Jessica Alba but avoid the American remake at all costs! The original is so much better and extremely scary. That movie gave me some of the worst nightmares. I couldn't go back to sleep when I woke up in horror during the night.

I'm not sure what makes you scared. Some people are afraid of seeing ghosts in movies but some people are afraid of ugly looking monsters or serial killers. Tell me what type of horror makes you scared and I can help you find some great movies. I'm an expert on this field ^^

Last one I watched a couple nights ago was The New Daughter. It has Kevin Costner and the Spanish girl from Pan's Labyrinth, two actors I think are pretty good. It wasn't too bad. I think a lot of GLPers would like it cause it has a lost underground civilization in it.

My daughter watched with me one night - Sometimes they come back.

Yes, I did see the original Eye! It was very good and scary!

Gory stuff doesn't scare me very much. It doesn't bother me though, if a movie happens to be gory I don't mind, but I never actually seek out things that are particularly gory just cause I don't think graphic stuff is very scary. I like the Lovecraftian cosmic horror type stuff. I love monsters and creativity. Serial killers and slashers don't do much for me, unless it is something like Texas Chainsaw Massacre or Seven where the killers are unique. A mix of scifi and/or fantasy is cool too.

The Thing, In the Mouth of Madness, Saw, Se7en, The Shining, The Exorcist, Bug, Candyman, Nightbreed, Event Horizon, Alien, Predator movies, Insidious, Don't Be Afraid of the Dark, Pan's Labyrinth, Prometheus, Cigarette Burns, Mothman Prophecies, Blair Witch Project, Midnight Meat Train, House of 1000 Corpses, Evil Dead, Silence of the Lambs, Hannibal, Jeepers Creepers, The Mist, and the Cube trilogy. I thought M Night Shyamalan's Signs and The Village were cool too.

I like dark, moody, and mysterious.

I tell ya .. last year I was watching INSIDIOUS .. and BAM!! - the power went out ..

The only thing that would have made it scarier is if I was on acid ..

Type Obama into the search bar and brace yourself for the horrors that lie within.

If you like comedy horror I would suggest Tucker and Dale vs Evil. I thought that was pretty funny.

There's a movie on there called Shutter (not to be mistaken with the crap US remake) the original Shutter is from Thailand it's pretty dark and creepy

God knows what the US does to a movie when they get the rights to remake it they take a good movie and turn it into complete crap

but anyway Shutter is one of my favorites
