Anyone From Shropshire, England, See That "Orange Orb-like UFO" Back In 1987/88?...
SHROPSHIRE, England - 1987/88:-

I was outside with a friend one autumn night at about 8 p.m. when suddenly, I saw a REALLY WEIRD orange light, rather like a very big orb, in the night sky heading in our direction.

After about thirty seconds, me and my friend both stopped to look up into the sky at it when suddenly, it split into TWO orange lights. The objects maintained their approach towards us but seconds later, as they were directly above us, and we began to follow "IT", the bright objects—which I have always beleived to be a UFO, whether terrestrial or extra-terrestrial, I can't say—suddenly zipped-off at an un-earthly speed—just as you would magine a UFO to fly away!...

An important point that I must make is that these bright orange objects—which remained in very close proximity, as if still joined—made ABSOLUTELY no sound whatsoever!!! I swear!!!!!

Folks, I'm not saying that I know that this was a UFO for sure, I mean, I was in my very early teens when I saw it, and friends—INCLUDING the friend who was with me at the time, and who ALSO witnessed this—all just took the piss!

I've always wondered though—was it REALLY a UFO? Or was it all just the faulty perception of a youngster, mistaking a helicopter for an "unidentified flying object"???...

QUESTION: Did anyone else on GLP who was in Shropshire, England in the late eighties see this bright light/UFO in the night sky?...

As far as I can remember, and knew at the time, this "incident" was never reported in our local newspapers. Pity.

I LOVED life in Shropshire back in the eighties—despite all the psychos who wanted to kill me...for SOME unknown reason!!! It came to a very abrupt end though, one fateful morning in April 1989...but that's a whole diferrent story...

No but a saw a UFO over the Longmynd around the time comet shoemaker levy was in the sky, an orange orb descended hovered in the same spot for about 7 minutes and then shot super fast straight up until it was that high it disappeared,

I was a distance of about a mile away in my back garden at the time, I was watching the comet and the sky's over church Stratton are extremely clear, very little light pollution due to the hills surrounding the town so great view.

I'm not sure when 'Shumacher Levy' passed by, I think it as back in the nineties, wasn't it? Never did like the name; sounds too German *lower blood-pressure already*, and slightly crypto-Jewish *I'm Torah ONLY*.

Nah!, the whole name of that commet just nausiates me!!!

Actually, I find commets to be vomit-inducing, mind-numbingly boring phenomena altogether! Although, I did love 'Hale-Bopp' back in the mid-eighties...now THAT'S what I call a heart-warming name for a commet, huh, folks?!...

'Hale-Bopp' ALWAYS reminds me of 'Haunton Hall', Shifnal, where I was educated. That's where I was when it passed us by. GREAT school! GREAT location! Smack-bang in the middle of rural England, SURROUNDED by ancient woodland; we used to have a BLAST watching the squirrals running up-and-down the enormous oak trees, collecting acorns and nuts for their winter supplies.

The school, as you can probably deduct from its name, used to belong to English arristocracy—it was ENORMOUS! A REAL stately home in the country!

Yeah, Shropshire is a VERY special place! It'll ALWAYS be planted FIRMLY in my heart—FOREVER!!!!!!!

Folks, you may not know this, but if you watched the opening-ceremony to the London Olympics, you'll probably be interested to know that the WHOLE thing was based ENTIRELY on the county of SHROPSHIRE!!! Well, that's what I reckon, anyway. I know the place well enough. Danny Boyle seems to also!

FACT: The olympics was revived in...SHROPSHIRE!!!!!!!

All you proud French folk need to learn the correct history of this greatest sports event in the world.

I hate to sound creepy, I mean, this IS the internet and weird people DO prey on the un-assuming here...but, coincidentally, I've been thinking of a beautiful girl who used to be in my class at school, lately...She was a one-off. Pity I was too dumb to appreciate her, back then. We used to sit very close to eachother in "morning register", or whatever that thing was called! Yeah, we'd bump into one-another by sheer chance sometimes, and, in hindsight, I guess...had I been sharper, that I probably would have seen that she was "interested"; hey, she was NO tramp, mind you! Joanne Woods was HIGH CLASS!!! To think, a girl like her (Hollywood-looks, folks!) actually spoke NICELY to me!!! I guess I must have looked pretty good back then!...Not saying I don't NOW, but living HERE, in a country that TOTALLY creeps-me-out—for SO LONG...friends?...it all takes its toll. I do look after my health and all that, though; it's just that, I never really liked living here?...I've always found it too foreign, I'm affraid. I mean, being a Shropshire guy, who ALWAYS had an undeniably strong affinity to Shropshire's ancient woodlands and countryside, coming here was a complete shock to the system!!! Nature here is regarded with contempt, unfortunately. I think the Maltese regard wildlife as being "of the devil!!!", something to be removed from their sight—COMPLETELY!, to put it euphemistically.
Well, what can you do, friends?...As much as I'd love to move BACK, doing that is not as easy as it sounds...England can be a COMPLETE sh*thole if you don't have the money to buy a place in a nice area! Ever heard of England's "sink-estates"??? THEY'RE A LIVING HELL!!! DO. NOT. GO. THERE!!!!!!
I'd have to win about £10,000,000 on the U.K. National Lottery in order to be able to afford to live where I want to live. Hey, I know EXACTLY where THAT place is too!!!!! Not going to say where though! Too many 'Data-Miners' on here! LOL!!!

I'd love to meet up with one of those sweethearts from "back then". As I mentioned earlier, J.W. has been on my mind SOOOO much this year...wonder if she married?...Actually, I can't believe I've actually said all this!!! She probably wont appreciate me mentioning her name on here; I just wish...sheeesh, life's a REAL bitch, huh folks???...

As I said though, with a BIG win, I reckon I could pull Jennifer Aniston! Although, my ideal wife would be a fellow believer, like myself. It's never a good idea for a REAL Christian to marry a non-believer; and that's not out of snobbism; we're no better than you lot! TRUST ME!!!
Marrying a lady who is MEANT to be your wife is something special—WAY more special than EVEN Jenifer Aniston!!!

I PROMISE YOU ALL, FOLKS: If I " HIT IT BIG" on the lottery, I'll buy a lovely place—away from it all!!!—and marry an angel.
Wish I could tell you all WHERE it is that I intend on buying my house, but you just never know who's gonna read it!; can you imagine if 'DoorBert' found out???!!!...*BREAKING: TruthAddict Marries Teen Sweetheart And Buys Home A_ _ _ The _ _ _ _ _ _ _ *

Anyway, I gotta go now, friends—it's nearly 10 p.m. here and it'll take me an hour to walk back home. See, I really DO get excercise!!!

Always loved you J.W. I know you must have moved on, though.
Hope you're doing well. Be blessed gorgeous.

Re: Anyone From Shropshire, England, See That "Orange Orb-like UFO" Back In 1987/88?...
Ha!Ha!Ha!!!!! I made a couple of errors in that long post that I wrote last week:-

ERROR #1: The commet that I was referring to as having passed our planet by in the mid-eightees when I was at Haunton Hall, Shifnal, was actually 'Haley's Commet'. How about THAT for a nice name for an cmmet, huh? I have such fomd memories of that school!

ERROR #2: I also made a remark about not wanting to live here...well, there ARE some places where I'd live over here—I forgot how nice the seafront properties ARE on this island! Silly me!!! It's just that, this country has changed since 9/11. Malta was very pro-American back in the nineties—life here was a CONTINUOUS blast, man! Now?...I just feel like a complete stranger in a foreign land. It's as if people here have become somewhat...pro-muslim/Middle-Eastern? Not sure sometimes, but what I DO know is that us white Westerners need to get our heads outta our "you-know-wheres", and start a new nation of our own; somewhere on the North American continent—a NEW nation for whites only! NO MORE secret societies, NO MORE vatican-control of our sovereign nation, NO MORE EVIL, FORCED ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION OF NON-WHITE MUSLIMS!!!

A nation BETTER than America EVER was!!!

Anyway, sorry about the errors, friends.
