Frankly Obama is not Liberal enough for me. Jill Stein was my candidate for President. That being said, if Obama came out and said those things I am not sure how I would react. that is an honest answer. You see I am not as concerned with what he says as much as what he does. Our system of government has sufficient Checks and Balances to ensure nothing to radical ever happens.
Here is some advice. I spent many years in agony over GWB until i realized that no matter how mad I was at him, he didn't care, didn't know and never would. I was irrelevant to him and what he was doing, just like I am to Obama, same for you. So what I found to be a better use of my energy was to focus it on things I could change. And I did. Along with other things I focused on my health and lost 200lbs, work out, do yoga and Tai Chi. this has made way more impact on me than anything an elected official can do for/to you.

Just a few quick examples of what our system of checks and balances have allowed.
Clinton perjurder himself and was allowed to remain in office. He also shuffled department responsibilities to enable US missle guidance tech to be sold to China and sent Jimmy Carter to North Korea to give them nuclear tech.
Bush asked for and got the Patriot act which created the DHS and the TSA both of which are redundant to other existing government agencies and neither which have anything to do with actual "security". They are nothing but jackboots of government control over freedom.
Obama managed to get not one but two completely unconstitutional laws rammed through the "check and balance" congress in just his first term. Obamacare forces private citizens to buy product from private business under penalty of the IRS simply drafting your personal bank account electronically for non-compliance and the "check and balance" supreme court said "okey dokey". Obama also signed the latest NDAA which unconstitutionally authorizes the military to arrest and detain you without acces to legal council indefinitely without even charging you with a crime. That totally violates several of the bill of rights and it is the checked and balanced law of the land right now.
There are no checks and balances that will stop the Marxist in the Whitehouse because our republic form of government is dead. [
