DEMOCRATS/LIBERALS/OBAMA SUPPORTERS. I HAVE A QUICK QUESTION....

If Obama went on live television, told the world he was a Communist, that he believes in communist principles, and believes they should be implemented here, would you continue to support him?

I think the typical working class democrat is exposed to media that favors Obama. Nothing in mainstream media indicates Obama is a Communist or that the left is going too far left.

An open announcement that Obama is a communist would shock enough people to change public opinion.

ironically if you cruise U-tube you can see plenty of videos where Obama is very friendly to communist and socialist ideas. I'm not aware of him actually admitting it but you can tell where his heart is.

They wouldn't care if Obama said he was going send everyone who voted for Romney to the gas chamber and melt down their bodies for soap. Seriously. That's how far its gone.

This is a wonderfully honest answer and perfect example of why the left would still support Obama even if he anounced he was a communist. The poster openly admitted they wanted him to be more liberal than they perceive him to be and are horribly wrong about what our broken system of checks and balances would not allow.

Just a few quick examples of what our system of checks and balances have allowed.

Clinton perjurder himself and was allowed to remain in office. He also shuffled department responsibilities to enable US missle guidance tech to be sold to China and sent Jimmy Carter to North Korea to give them nuclear tech.

Bush asked for and got the Patriot act which created the DHS and the TSA both of which are redundant to other existing government agencies and neither which have anything to do with actual "security". They are nothing but jackboots of government control over freedom.

Obama managed to get not one but two completely unconstitutional laws rammed through the "check and balance" congress in just his first term. Obamacare forces private citizens to buy product from private business under penalty of the IRS simply drafting your personal bank account electronically for non-compliance and the "check and balance" supreme court said "okey dokey". Obama also signed the latest NDAA which unconstitutionally authorizes the military to arrest and detain you without acces to legal council indefinitely without even charging you with a crime. That totally violates several of the bill of rights and it is the checked and balanced law of the land right now.

This too continues to prove my point. The SCOTUS completely failed in it's duty to act as a check and balance by purposefully (and also unconstitutionally) re-wording the law and the defendants argument in substituting the word tax for the word penalty. Congress has the authority to levy a tax, but the law was expressly not passed as a tax. Democrats tripped all overthemselves to make sure that word was not in the bill. Secondly all taxes must originate in the House and this bill came out of the Senate. So Judas Roberts both assumed a power not authorized by the constitution in taking it upon himself to re-write law and at the same time completely ignored the fact that his re-write also made the bill unconstitutional because the tax he named didn't originate in the House.

Back to the threads point, Democrats/Liberals/Obama supporters would still support him even if he announced he was a communist because (as exemplified above) they opperate from a by-any-means-neccessary approach to get what they want done.

Of course they will. In my mind, there are 4 types of Obama voters....Racists, the lazy wanting the handout; The true socialists or communists who think htat is the right economic model, and the idiots who vote because that is how they are told to vote (could include the communist/socialist type here as they are idiots as well). That is why we are in big, big trouble when it comes to turning this country around.
