Wow that post reads like a Rothschild press release.

I'm well aware of the tanking U.S. economy. That's why I asked WHY on earth he is trying to immigrate people here period? These days I'm sure Mexico is far better off than the U.S. anyway.

As far as both 'parties' moving FORWARD, it seems your implying the globalism agenda stated above of forming the NAU. As soon as they deliberately tank the economy it's GAME ON, isn't it?

I dont think it is a deal to open the floodgates for undocumented entries, it is to do with streamlining access for legal entry to work and it is bilateral, many americans already enjoy the benefits of living here so both sides benefit as migratory documents are also required for US citizens living and working here.

Also as you say you are aware of the US economic situation, especially as the world has competed against it for so long but globally the US may not be as competitive so joining economies with canada and mexico could ensure the future ability to compete as a combined regional economy, makes sense considering BRIC, the EU, the Asian Tiger and the south american union...

You must look to the positive dude, keep a level head while the sheep lose it kinda thing?

LOL! You are crashing paradigms here!

The big question for me is this: What is the ultimate and present intention here?

Is it to end poverty, wars and educate everyone?

Or is it for the fat cats to get fatter?

NAFTA was a f@kin disaster for the poor and middle class in Mexico, bankrupting many small businesses who couldn't compete with giant corporations. Is this just more of the same?

Opening the borders or certain restrictions could be nice for many who want to move around more, but I doubt that idea is popular with the ultra conservatives here.

I would first focus on the main intention behind such ideas. Greed should not be tolerated in any legislative goal.

I say be vary wary of such moves. It can be done right, but it is highly improbable considering that it would be done right.
