But, let me ask you, who's more ignorant: the young person who doesn't have a whole lot of life experience and voted based on what is currently most important to them, or the person who chose not to vote?

Who do you think should be allowed to vote? 35yrs+? A minimum IQ? A *maximum* IQ (we all know how the "academic elites" will vote)? Conservatives only? Christians only?

Maybe *you* should be the only one allowed to vote? Once you eliminate the people who obviously disagree with you, it's only a matter of time before you encounter people who you disagree with on other issues as well. And, once you've set the precedence for eliminating those you disagree with, how can anyone trust anyone over even minor disagreements?

Let's be honest ... you want a government that is only for *certain* people and only by *certain* people.

If you ever go to an event, which I did because a friend scored free tickets, you'll notice the stuff on the economics does show some of the problems legitimately, but that he has the tone of a drunk who found all the answers in God.

His paycheck depends upon selling advertising exposure. He was found a niche for himself by drawing in fundamentalist Christians, and old white people who realize that the current economic situation is unsustainable.

He comes on all cozy, warm and friendly like a boyish favorite nephew.

Creating the perfect opportunity for his sponsors to sell you gold coins, water filters, arthritis creme, and sponsorship of some needy Jewish family in Russia.

This country was never intended to be a democracy, although unfortunately, it seems that's what we're becoming.

This is much more than just a mere disagreement. Because they're either too stupid or too lazy to govern themselves, they are voting against the limited govt. we were founded upon. Doing so, they are infringing on MY right to self govern. I guess it's easier for them to have someone else control every aspect of their life, than to actually make decisions for themselves and live with the outcomes of their choices. Funny thing is, they're too ignorant to realize what they're doing, and eventually, they will have to deal with the consequences of the choices they made at the voting booth....and the rest of us will be stuck paying the price as well.

As for who I believe should vote, anyone who has stake in the country. The youth, IF they are serving the country, landowners, tax payers, etc.

As for revolution, there are far too many Anonymous Cowards that are more interested in a quiet life for that to happen. If it were to happen, it would hav been the day after the election, when emotions were highest.
