Mycelium User ID: 17882166 United States 11/28/2012 01:51 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The article said something is damaging the coal's immune system. While the pathogen may have ben present, and even problematic since 2004, I find it hard to believe it has been going at the pace of 2-3" per week and, "killing 50 or 100 year old coral in as little as eight weeks," for the last eight years. I get the distinct impression that the pace of the disease is accelerating. These two items, the rate it spreads and the immune system, as circumstantial evidence supporting the Fuku theory. That alone, is nothing, in terms of proving it, I guess, but theories, it seems, are all we got. Has any other theory been put forward? In that other thread? What are the consequences of this die-off? How far-reaching are they? |

Before i came to Japan i was working in the Andaman-Sea/ Thailand and Myanmar as a Diving Instructor for 4-5 Years and observed Corals nearly daily, they died and die very quick in the matter of 7-14 Days! In the Thailand Area i would say 75-85% of the Corals are dead or at least sick, imo this is coming from the Temperatur- she is also weaken the Immune System and support the increase of nasty Bacteria and Viruses. to cry "Fukushima" is stupid and Disinformation and Distraction from the real cause! Maybe Corals even love Radiation? |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 22054163 United States 11/28/2012 03:37 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | yes but then we have the same thing with the fungus that got the bats. Which in turn after spreading mutated from bats to fresh water and dogs and humans. With C Gatti. And bats carrying mutated SARS in Saudi Arabia. And bees and frogs and dolphin's and via fungus in all but possibly the bees even though they have it may not be the only things killing them. Instead it may be what mutated in the bee just like it has to go from bat to dog to human. This was before Japans disaster. The bat mutation was noted in about 2009. |
SevenThunders User ID: 15851599 United States 11/28/2012 04:10 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Typical scenario. God creates a beautiful paradise. Liberals discover the paradise and flock to it spreading their liberal social malaise and polluting the land with sin and godlessness. God destroys the paradise and plunges liberals into an economic and spiritual ruin. Liberals flee to another paradise, and destroy that. Rinse and repeat. I see the coral death in Hawaii as the judgment of God on the demonic liberals who have ruined this paradise. It is the same process everywhere, Hawaii, CA, Oregon, all the European states. Godless liberals are the absolute ruin of Western civilization. They are like the goths and visigoths of ancient Rome. Interestingly the visigoths are busy destroying America these days as well. The visigoths settled in Spain who then conquered Mexico and central America. To the extent that they still cling to the pagan cult of Rome and embrace the democratic party, they are destroyers. A few have come out of the darkness, but far too few. With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible |

Indego77 User ID: 26952081 United States 11/28/2012 05:24 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This sounds like a conspiracy theory just thinking it but the symptoms the coral reef exhibit are the same as what people experience when they've been diagnosed with either the fungal meningitis or the dengue fever... It's not far fetched to think that the governments of the world would conceal the details if this were the case. With good reason of course, but that still poses the questions what is this ? And how far along is it in it's infestation process? Note the movements along the reef indicate a predatory action (viral) and the same is to say for the f.m. And the d.f. Check it out and post your findings the potential for mass hysteria is emminent(pending further research) |
