It's 12:40 in the morning here and it's really bright for this time of night. I have never seen it like this. I'm located in the forest away from any significant light pollution about 40 miles east of Scranton. It snowed today, ground is covered and sky is totally overcast. I can't see where the indirect light is coming from but it's all around me. Normally I can't see even a few feet in front of me, or even my car parked in the driveway but now I can see my neighbor's car across the road clear as day. It's bright enough for my cameras to switch off the IR mode and show dim color. During the drive up here tonite it was fairly dark but it has been getting a little brighter every hour.. I don't think moonlight being defused in the cloud layer would cause this without a corresponding hotspot which I don't see.
This is the first time I have ever seen this, lived here for years. Can anyone in the area please confirm this is also happening where you are?
Thank you.
