Soul mates

The guy who I feel like is my soul mate, I learned to not settle. He opened my heart into receiving love. I just wish it was with him. I wish for once, I could get the guy. And of all the guys I have liked, he's one I really wished I had.

Seeing him, I feel my whole body fill with sadness. I stopped talking to him at work, since his gf works there. And I know she knows I like him. When I found out he was taken, I felt like I shouldn't try. If he felt the same, he would of dumped her by now. He still looks at me, and it confuses me. I got so shy when he would chat me up, I wasn't used to the attention either.

It's one of the most irritating experiences in my life. I pray to God for wisdom. I have this itching what if part going against "he is taken" part.


I have tried to like other guys, but nothing compares...nothing. This deep connection I feel when we look at each other. It's intoxicating. I rather just be single than settle. I'll go on dates with other guys, but I feel nothing. I try to move on, but this itching feeling won't let me. It doesn't feel right.

well i hope good things for you both. How long have you been married. There is always a way to communicate honestly and grow together. It is never to late for that, considering there was an initial spark that led to the marriage in the first place.

I know my soulmate. The feeling is mutual.

What if you find that "soul mate" but yet he is taken?

It is so hard not to compare everyone else to the feelings the "one" evokes.

That is my dilemma. The one I have found will never be mine but I can't stop comparing others to him.

I am in the exact place. I don't know how to cope...move on. How long have you known this soul mate?

Have you let them know how you feel? Or because they are with someone, you backed away? Do you still talk to them?

How the hell do you cope?

Does he show he feels the same way? And if he's taken, do you assume if he stays with her, he probably doesn't feel the same way?

You'd think that we would all just live happily ever after with that ONE perfect person but it RARELY works out that way. Just look around.

But sometimes dreams do come true, and from the bottom of my heart, I hope they do for you.

I have known him a little over two years. He is my best friend. We talk all the time. He has been there for me for every obstacle and every problem in this time period.

I do not know what I would do without him. I told him how I felt and then backed off. I didn't want the friendship to be under false pretenses. I stopped talking to him for well over a week and he contacted me because he missed our friendship.

I do not know how he feels. He isn't the "emotional" type. I honestly don't ask questions that I may not like to hear the answers to. Therefore, I accept the boundaries and wish for what may be. Maybe someday.

I know. as much as it would be awesome for us all to find the ONE, i fear that would take away from the meaning of love. Kind of like the whole theory you can't know the good without the bad..

Sometimes you can learn more from the down than from the ups. Thank god for balance. Im happy with or without. I guess i dont know how happy i could be with him because i haven't met him yet.
