What an asinine thread. On one hand, many of you piss and moan about freedoms and capitalism and how Obummer is redistributing wealth. Then, you complain that people are getting $50k/mo rentals.

Hell, some of the posts say things like ,"I cant wait to watch these rich folks dumpster dive" or," these rich assholes will get whats coming to them". How absolutely childish. Not everyone that can afford that rent is inherently bad.

Many of you arguing for freedom in one thread are here whining about rich people lol. You cant have one without the other. Freedom makes opportunity to become rich. Just because none of you took a chance like most business owners did doesnt mean you have the right to judge them, or the way they made their money.

Wait until the SHTF in the urban areas and the first thing that will happen is these people looking for the same thing you have will encroach upon your peaceful, crime free city. Everyone is starting to get the idea as it is, in the past decade and I have watched multitudes of people down south of me, move up to the north country and now the peace and crime free life I had went to hell. I had to get out and move further north to escape these people, and their big housing tracts and box stores. It will happen to you too, eventually. Enjoy it while you can.

How exactly are the "rich"people at fault for whats written in the tax code!?? If you dont like the current rates, its Congresses fault, not the dudes who invented the Ninja Knife lol.

Get real for a minute...the top Federal tax rate any of you pay is 35%. Thats for the top earners. More than likely, you make leass than $75k which puts you at roughly a 23% Federal tax rate. If you have a wife and one child...that drops to about 18%. Theres all kinds of tax breaks for everyone.

Look at this analogy:
A rich dude makes 1million bucks a year. Lets say after all theses "loop holes" they end up paying 1% Federal tax, which is impossible, but fuck it. So 1% of 1 million is what...$1000?
Now take the 50 million people on welfare who pay ZERO Federal Taxes. After being taxed NOTHING, they get earned income credits, credits for their loser kids, plus free food, housing, heat...etc. So...they pay nothing, then get thousands of dollars back.

Which would you rather have in your country? Rich people who pay little or poor people who pay nothing and get everything?

On top of that, not all rich people have the same tax loopholes as Warren Buffet or Bill Gates. Those are reserved for billionaires.

Quit blaming everyone else for your lack of motivation and not going to college to actually BE one of those people. Or, invent something cool and become one of them. Sitting back and making judgements on crap you know nothing about only shows you dont have the gumption to do anything but whine about everyone else. Never happened...especially with utilities. Know why? Because by definition Nationalizing anything makes it inherently more expensive you tool shed. Name me one country who nationalized anything and brought it to the people at a cheaper cost than a privately owned industry.

If they made their money Legally and Morally (NOT the same thing) then I have absolutely NO PROBLEM with them renting an apartment for $50,000 per month.

Shoot if someone has a private jet the mid sized ones cost about $1,000,000 per year to keep in the air (or more), the the big ones are closer to $3,000,000 to $5,000,000 per year. (the tiny ones with no toilet are CHEAP by comparison at only $500,000/year).

If you want to see the rich spending money like tap water going out a bathtub drain take a look at the big yatchs in Florida or up and down the East Coast. Those things cost in the many millions of $$ a year to keep going.

Their business. They have the right to run it however the hell they want. If they dont want fulltime workers, its their right to NOT have fulltime workers.
