It was hard to avoid in the states. They use it instead of sugar in something like 90% of processed foods.

Light Under The Door.

Probably using honey is the best sweetener. Eco cane sugar can bbe OK too.

Best is not to shop soda or juices at all.

I just avoided grocery stores when I was there. There really wasn't much edible in them. It was all chocked full of corn syrup or chemicals.

Personally I lean towards the unrefined sugar these days because it takes longer for the body to break down..not such a sugar rush..but I'm sure it's not the best option.

This vitamin D thing that is popular is just another diversion from reality.

Science & medical research usually always takes one away from causes in Food, or Drugs or Water to environmental factors or natural causes.

Widespread vitamin D deficiency is a serious problem that is ignored in USA. It is not "popular" thing that is another diversion from reality. You got it backward.

So - A spoonful of sugar helps the medicine goes down, does it?

Well I'm an insulin dependant diabetic, and after following this advice, I am now two months into a life threatening hyperglycaemic coma.
