Christian talk
I have a message to share with Christians.
I was a fellow believer in Christ. I was so into God, making my faith everything to me. I spent much time trying to understand the bible. The more research into it I did, the more my views changed. This was purely based on factual evidence. I knew that I had to be careful not to be decieved. Which meant not believing everything that I had read, but instead doing my homework on each matter I came across. A slow proccess, but fruitful indeed. I even started learning the original Hebrew language. A very basic language as you'd expect, much like cave man writing in a sense. Very interesting.

In brief, here is were some issuses I faced:
The Law (Talmud)
Trinity
Paul, false apostle.
Synoptic gospels and John gnostic gospel
Bible contradictions
Evolution

*Talmud. Tal-what?
Most Christians I've asked have no idea what the Talmud is. Well, churches should teach about it as part of the gospel message. Of course, it would change Christianity a lot if they did. Ok, you are taught about the law being taken away by the cross. That is a falsehood. So what is the Talmud?
The Talmud is the Oral and written law that was added by wise men. It is still important to Jews today, in fact, often more important than the (wrongly named) old testament (tanakh). If you read the gospels in context to this fact, which can easily be studied, you'll find what Yeshua is really talking about. He speaks out strongly against the Talmud, which was not given that name at that time. It's what the scribes and pharisees taught. And it was too hard to be followed. The Torah (The law, or closer still, target) Yeshua says will never be done away with. Read it. Churches completely twisted the scripture, and say that it's gone because he fulfilled it. He hated Talmud and loved Torah. So did many in the Tanakh, just read psalms (especially David).

*The trinity. I find it to be false. There are many reasons why, but I shall not cover that. Find bible quotes on the subject.

*Paul. I realised that his message was different to Yeshua's (Jesus') soon after being reborn at 24 years old. I stayed ignorant to it, and just thought people need to listen to Jesus' words more. Yeshua's word are powerful and are not taken on board in context. After a few years I came across informative websites (not without their faults) that acused Paul of being the Anti-Christ. I read on and on. Cross reference with different versions of the bible. Even used tools to find words before tranlation. Paul plainly contradicts Yeshua. They speak against each other in more than contradition too. You'll actually find a few prophecies against Paul if you search. One good one is in Revelation, where John is given a message for the churches. One is praised for turning away the false prophets. This same place (Ephesus) turns paul away and won't follow him.
Also search Apollonius. He was a wise sage with many similarities to Paul. It appears likely that the two are the same. Paul, false apostle. Can't be true? Research it before you claim against it. Don't listen to anyone that claims that they have proven it right or wrong, study yourself. Promise God that you'll stick to the truth where ever that leads you.

*Synoptic gospels and John gnostic gospel. Very brief but probably the most important. Matthew, Mark and Luke are synoptic gospels. Mark is the foundation for Matthew and Luke. John is gnostic. I don't want to say to much as I don't think it wise to go halfway on this. The main problem is, when they were written and by who. Do a lot of homework on this.

*I spent a lot of time falsifying bible contradictions. I found most very easy to reject. Some taken effort and tested my faith. Some were just plain taken out of context. Some, were true. No matter how hard I searched and would not let it rest.

*For me it was a big issue. I even followed young earth creation when I was born again. I found there a lot of their claims to be either ignorant or lies. The use things that have strongly been falsified and still teach it!
Evolution, compatible with the bible, you decide. I think not though. But that isn't what finished my faith.

My faith changed when I learnt that the Torah(law) was still relevant. I realised I was more Jew than Christian, only most Jews (religious sense) follow Talmud. I was frowned upon by the church after that.
I no longer read Paul. I did explain my reasons to people. I became more outcast. No trinity.
When I found the gospels to be false my faith ended. I am now an Athiest.

I just thought I'd share. Thank you for reading.

Maybe they have subverted the Word. You know that I John 5:7 is deleted in these modern renditions?

Any other things that you came across?
I view coincidences in such a way. Every day, millions of possible coincedences can occur. It would be improbable that 1 didn't. If it's something that gets into the fore front of your mind, you'll draw conclusions on it that may well be false, as our brains naturally see patterns and give meaning to them.
In a test Derren Brown done. People were left in a room and had to score 100 points to win the prize money. They weren't told how the points were scored. The subjects, including actor David Tenant perfomed many random ideas. Every so often a point was scored. They kept repeating, or varying a method hoping for more points. At the end, they were asked whether they had figured it out. One said they did, although it kept changing. David Tenant was smarter and said that they hadn't. They got 100 points. It was scored by fish in a tank crossing a line in the middle. It really shown how we make connections to patterns. Just like how you train a dog or any animal.
We do the same thing in faiths all around the world, and believe this to be proof that prayers are answered.

The very first step in loosing your faith and your salvation is believing the lie that the OT law is still in effect and that paul was a false apostle. This is the first step in falling away.

Satan got his clutches into you when you first believed that lie, then it all went downhill from there.

Come back to the faith, Come back to Jesus, He is the truth, the life and the way to the Kingdom of God.

Everything else is a lie from the pit designed to do exactly what happened to you.

There are two seeds in this world.

For a purpose.

To accomplish The Almighty's purpose. To make manifest the seeds.

The Almighty is sovereign.

All else is instruments wielded by the hand of the Almighty to accomplish His purpose.

Be of good cheer. The battle is finished in the eyes of The Almighty. He now calls us to rest and patience as the mytery of His plan unfolds.

I too studied scripture and those who wrote about the bible for years. My expectations of God have been an impediment to fully surrendering to Jesus. What has kept me in the game is an unwavering belief that the cross of Christ changed things. The law was fulfilled in Christ, yet I see that I still sin. Sin was not done away with because I believe that Christ died for my sin. The penalty of sin is eternal death. This also was not done away with. I am trusting that the one who died for me can take away the penalty of the law even though the law is still active. The third part of the trinity is what imparts the fulfilled law in my body. The fulfilled law is perfect, so that God sees this and not my physical sins when he views me. In essence he sees Christs spirit, not the nature I was born with.

What a precious and invaluable gift! Finer and more durable than anything this world can offer.

We simply cannot imagine in our most glorious visions those things which God has intended for us!

And it is planted in good soil. Soil which is tended by The Almighty Himself.

And it does not depart from one who has truly received it. Ever. Rather it becomes more and more evident as we approach the day.

The gifts and calling of God are without repentance to those whom the gifts were given.

What a blessing!

God Bless.

You haven't taken the Talmud into account. That is what Yeshua hated. He wanted others to follow him in the Way, following Torah. Yeshua would say you are the least in heaven for not following Torah, even more for teaching it.
I commend your faith, and sticking to it. I recommend you carry on with your research and hope you stay faithful to the truth, even if uncomfortable. Thanks.

I won't entertain your debate OP. You've lost all faith in the Lord and you're trying to persuade weak ones to fall away.

That is why you created this platform, and I won't participate in it because that is the devils work trying to lead others astray.

I asked you to pray, and you want to debate.

I will leave you with this, "without faith it is impossible to please God".

You've chosen a dark road for yourself, and if you really care about your destiny you will pray about it and seek Him before it's too late. Judgement is coming to the world.......soon.

You could die today and be standing before The Almighty today, and you will account for your words and actions.

Check with your local library and see if they have the book The Case For Christ and if they do, check it out.

Please pray about it, this is not a game. God loves you very much, you are important to Him. Come back to Him and ask forgiveness for your sins, and believe that He is real. Believe it because it's the truth.

I find it hard to believe that a lot of people won't look in to claims against their faith so that they can defend it in the future and bring others to faith that have doubts. It is an ignorant way to be. This is obviously not aimed at those that do, as I'm sure there are some. Never believe something because some one says it, or that they studied it. Study it yourself. If your don't then you are just sheep following what you are told. Just like people following thousands of different denominations because of what they are told. They can't all be right. You'd have to study to know the truth, right?

Trust me, I did come as a child. I was a full on believer.

Re: Christian talk
Hey Brother, looks like our Heavenly Father opened your eyes to many important things that most of the sheep are asleep to. That is great and you should feel privileged. Only you are missing a very important piece of the puzzle that I will now fill you in on. You are from a country that makes up a tribe of the 'lost' tribes of Israel. You are not Jew, but true Israelite. You need to research British Israelism for it is the truth. I know how lonely it can be with these beliefs of ours so the best place for you to have fellowship is online since most churches make up mystery Babylon and are deceived, apostate, and asleep. You will find many online communities that share our beliefs. Also, the Talmud is not the Law of God but the traditions of Men, they have added on to the Law contradicting the Commandment of Moses here.

Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you. Deuteronomy 4:2

You need to be very weary about what the House of Judah believes and only follow the Torah, word of God for instruction and no man.

Here are some websites that I believe God led me too. God bless you and keep you, you will be in my prayers.

Great E-book on the 'lost' tribes of Israel which has been the greatest help to me and I would highly advise you to get it, it clears up a lot of things. Just scroll down a bit.

Re: Christian talk
If your don't then you are just sheep following what you are told.

You'd have to study to know the truth, right?

Matthew 25:31-33 "When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left."

John 10:27 "My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me."

Luke 18:15-17 "People were also bringing babies to Jesus for him to place his hands on them. When the disciples saw this, they rebuked them. But Jesus called the children to him and said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.”

You might have come as a child OP, but that didn't last long because you allowed doubt to creep in and you didn't fight against it.

You started searching for more and fell for the "hidden esoteric knowledge" stuff. That's what started leading you astray. The farther you went, the deeper the hole was and you kept on going until you hit the bottom. Satan makes things very appealing, like you're missing something important if you don't try his stuff. Many fall for it.

You were not satisfied with being a child of God. You wanted the knowledge of evil, and you believed that instead of the knowledge of God.

You were like Adam, who knew what was right, but couldn't resist trying it and then became deceived.

It's your choice, but you made the wrong choice, unfortunately.

Re: Christian talk
I know people think that I'm trying to deconvert people, and maybe I am in a way. I just don't want people going through a long process like i did. It's painful. I care about people. I have no problem with Christians, my family are, my fiance is and her family is. I have friends that are too. When you know the truth on something, you want to share it. Just like when you come to Christ.

Interesting fact: There is no J in hebrew. Why do people still say Jesus?
